We were advised of a start date and bright and early that morning, roofers arrived. The workers were polite, waited for us to move vehicles before parking their equipment on our lot. They were very quick and thorough with the removal of the old roof shingles and cleaned up quickly. The project was estimated to be 2 - 2.5 days. Because of the threat of rain on day 3, Green Leaf staying late the 2nd day to ensure there was no way for water to enter. They were never even unpacked. They had the smoke and fire extinguisher damage all over everything. So I had to clean all my belongings myself. They only cleaned a few things. When I discovered some of my beautiful new Southern Yellow Pine floorboards were turning gray, a…read morefriend suggested that it looked like a mold problem and suggested I call Servpro. They arrived promptly, tested for moisture in the flooring, found a problem and traced it to a closet where, sure enough, mold had formed on the wallboard. Ultimately, we found the source to be ice damming on our roof where our new addition connected to the original house (we addressed that problem separately). Servpro recommended I contact my insurance company, and I was relieved to find the damage was covered, and they quickly authorized Servpro to do the remediation. Servpro carefully removed the affected wallboard for disposal as hazardous waste, dried out the area with blowers and dehumidifiers, and prepared it for my carpenter to replace the closet wall and baseboard; my flooring company replaced the affected floorboards and refinished the floor. Since then I've had Servpro clean my wool area rugs, and nobody does it better. I'm sold on Servpro of Belfast, Camden and Rockland.

After contacting them, Angel met with me and within a couple of days we had a detailed contract to review. The cost estimate was the lowest of three we received. It was important for my family that the work was completed in one day and that we were given as much advance notice as possible. We received an email five days before the work was to be completed. On the installation day the crew all seemed to have tasks to perform and Jose provided me with updates and answered any questions I had. The work was completed the same day. I would highly recommend them and we like the look of our new roof.
