Last night, April 3rd with tornado warnings til 8pm and with high winds we reached out to you via text and followed up by a one on one phone call that the ridge cap you removed and then reinstalled on March 22 had blown completely open.  We also explained new roof panels were being buffetted and needed securing.  You agreed to come out and then never showed up.  Dave called at least 2 more times and left voicemails.  I sent additional text requesting your arrival time and included vidoe to support how serious the situation was.  I also tried calling.  You ignored all our attempts to reach you. Today, April 4th we once again made numerous attempts to reach you.  It is only when I call from a unfamiliar cell that you chose to answer.  I said hello Bob this is Brenda Meyer and you hung up on me. This email is to notify you that you have violated our contractual agreement. Your failure to secure the roof has resulted in additional damages to our property.  It was negligent of you to do so and negligent of you not to respond on site last night. We can not move forward with a company and individual who puts our home, dwelling, and our expensive Airstream at risk like you did last night.  We also refuse to move forward with a company and individual such as yourself who avoids communications with their client.  The quality of your work was poor at best. I had requested your material bills today so that I could rationalize how much of the 4200 downpayment you need to return.  Since you refuse to comminicate I have now filed a complaint with the BBB for the full amount. Dave and I have spent too many hours of our own personal time following after poorly installed materials.  As homeowners we had to climb on the metal roof and fix the ridge cap you failed to secure.  We did not sign up for these kinds of games. It puddled the next rain, I sent Bob pictures, he would not look at them & said I don't know what you are worried about, this roof is guaranteed for ten years, within 2 months it leaked , it has leaked 2 to 3 times each year since, Bob would not respond to numerous calls & texts until I agreed to remove a complaint I filed with the BBB. Each time it happens, he becomes angry, says "his roofs don't leak", he has come out 4 times in the last 3 years but it takes weeks to reach him each time. Now he says it should have been flashed, he will flash it if we pay more, but can't say when he will come out to bid. It has ruined the ceiling, and a laptop. We can't replace the ceiling because it keeps leaking. He escalates quickly on the phone, says he's had problems with this system against"rough brick."If it needed flashing, it should have been part of the bid in the first place. When we replaced a roof, we expected it not to leak and if it did, for the problem to be fixed in a timely professional way. This has been a nightmare. We are calling another company and getting an attorney.

They were hired to do the roof at my Condo association. They were told by my HOA rep not to block…read morethe accessible parking spot or ramp so I have access to my home, also they are disabled spots and shouldn't be used for construction anyway. I came home to my parking spot and ramp to enter my home blocked, I asked the construction worker to move the truck, he attempted to ignore me. I had to honk at him repeatedly and wait about 10 minutes to get them to move. I also found out my neighbor had told them to move as soon as they parked in the spot and they ignored them and parked illegally. The next day they knocked on my door 4 separate times while I worked from home trying to force me to move my car from my accessible spot to get out of there way even though the HOA rep had said nothing about people needing to move for them, and again not what accessible spots are made for. Construction on the project got delayed 5 days beyond there promised timeline. They were made aware I needed access and still blocked access, don't give excuses do better. Avoid this company if you don't want to be dissatisfied.

Some issues management fought us to fix, let's not argue with the customer when it should have been done right the first time. Quality of work around some tough corners not good and had to redo it. Installers need to slow down in those difficult areas, you can do it quick but let's do it right. Management needs to do the right thing to fix issues and not argue if clearly poor workmanship. Train installers on a regular basis. We did have a good leader to assist us getting issues completed

Again the crews were on time, clean, polite and professional! Clean up was done afterwards and the work was quality checked. We found a small error which the management fixed themselves the same day they were notified! The cost was in line with insurance estimates and we could not be more pleased with the job! Our neighbors used a different company and hopefully theirs will be installed soon, but will likely happen 4-6 weeks after our job was done ! Two thumbs up for Lagunas Roofing! They came yesterday and again this morning and replaced the gutter downspouts and the aluminum garage door trim. Again, fast, clean and courteous workers. We even had an extended rain shower and that only slowed them a little bit during the heaviest rain. Great work and well ahead of my neighbors who have materials piled in their driveway and have weeks to wait for a crew.
