He told us to call him back if it worked so we could potentially save the cost of a service visit -- and it did! When we called back, Matt didn't stop there. He went on to give us incredibly helpful guidance on proper cleaning and ongoing maintenance, explaining things clearly and patiently. On top of that, he helped us identify the right modification for a remote start we're considering and even checked whether they had it in stock. Larry was the property manager, not the landlord, but nothing ever seemed to get done with him there, at least not while I lived there which, granted, was not very long. HOWEVER, the owner was unaware of what was going on at this time, and once he became aware handed over management duties to a property management company. The last few months of my stay were hectic with the management changes, but the new company seems to be MUCH better at managing the property and taking care of the tenants/units. I have no doubt they will turn the place around. During the management change I had the opportunity to speak with the owner and he seems like a genuinely good person and would not intentionally screw over his tenants. I really loved the layout of the apartments, but I did not particularly like the neighborhood. There are several children in these apartments and that can make for some very noisy summer days/evenings.
