First, it is in a residential neighborhood about 5 minutes away from the Mill Creek area. There is a parking lot and if it fills up, there is plenty of parking on the street. All tickets are "pay-what-you-decide", which means you reserve your tix online and pay after the show, whatever you decide to pay, either cash, card or Venmo. There is a "check in" desk to claim your reserved tix, and a small lobby where bottled/canned water, soft drinks, beer and wine are sold. The theater itself is very small...only 50 seats, 3-sided around the stage. Because of its very small size, masks are required in the theater, but not in the lobby. Dance Nation was a powerful show about girls becoming teenagers and the struggles of wanting to stay a kid and wanting to grow up and not wanting to grow up and not wanting to stay a kid, all at once. The casting, the acting, the staging, the writing was excellent. There was no set, limited props, and neither took anything away from the quality of the show. I teared up, laughed out and gasped out loud, and raised my eyebrows a lot throughout the show. It was refreshingly honest. A well done show.

It's such a unique experience that I believe everyone needs to visit at some point in their life. Growing up I visited numerous drive-ins with the family and loved it. Pride's Corner is cash only including ticket purchases at the entrance and their vastly stocked concessions stand. You can buy tickets online which I recommend to make the entrance process as quick as possible. You pay per car with a price of $20 up to 2 people and only $30 for a car up til 5 with any additional being 5 per. Try and find a deal this good for a movie theater! Which mind you here that includes typically two movies, so even better! For this particular re-review my wife and I visited to see Toy Story 5, great movie! The second movie was The Mandalorian and Grogu (we did end up leaving rather than sticking around). Round up your family and/or friends for a cheap movie night under the stars!

It takes real talent and lots of practice to just roll with everything throw at them and to be able to improv it all. This is defiantly a show for adults. They folks are awesome. So much fun and so much laughing. I can't wait for another. They have experienced actors and occasionally some new members. They take lots of from topics from the audience. They do serious scenes in which actors take turns doing a serious scene and whenever the audience laughs they get tapped out. They do a scene where everyone is a character and one actor that has bee out of the room has to guess them all at a party. They often end with "sex with me is like ...." And the audience gives out the ideas. This is hilarious.

You can clearly see the stage and the instrument sounds filled the venue beautifully. The volunteers were so nice and definitely have a pep in their step. There many of them, there to greet and bring you to the general area of your seats. I say general area, because one actually brought us to the opposite end of the row were were seated. It's ok, we were there early and just walked back around. She apologized, when she saw us walking back the other way. As expected with older venues - there are a lot of stairs to traverse if you are in the balcony - this your warning. Drinks and restrooms are not available at every level, so make sure you plan accordingly. Parking is separate and it's not a bad walk - just wear comfortable shoes, so you don't twist your ankle. Security was friendly - expect the metal detectors, wanding, emptying of pockets and searching of bags. Typical for most venues. We look forward to our next show this year!

This is a great little venue that is now a family must "go to" when we make our annual trip to the area. As an added bonus, you meet the friendliest people. This year after the show, our car battery died and we were stuck in the parking lot. Without asking, the staff at the theatre volunteered if they could help as well as at least four cars. Not something I am used to where I come from. Looking forward to the 2014 season.

Maine is lucky to have several drive-ins. But, I'll echo what a couple other folks have said already: PRO: $20 for a double feature for a whole carload of people is unbeatable! CON: We were in a Honda HRV (not a huge SUV) and tried to park in the third row where other vehicles our size were parked. A man came (literally) running after us to tell us we needed to move back a row because we were "too big." The fourth row was almost exclusively enormous pickup trucks. Fortunately, the ground in the fourth row had a bit of a bump, so we were able to position our vehicle on an incline and it offered fantastic views of the screen. Also, people weren't parking near the outdated microphone stands (which are spaced out for a reason), and instead we had someone park (their mega truck) so close to us that we couldn't even open our passenger door. Sooo... just a heads-up regarding where/how you park your vehicle.

Saco Drive-In does a double feature presentation where you can come early to grab a spot via your vehicle, or you can come during the second half to watch the second movie. It is only $20/vehicle for TWO movies! You can bring your own food and drinks or you can grab something from the concession stands in the back. How it works: Park your car not too close, as you'll be struggling to see the movie from within. Turn off your engine by setting your car to ACC, as you'll have to use your radio to listen to the movie. The screen will provide you with the radio station to tune into. Turn off your headlights, and get ready to watch the movie! The awesome thing about drive-ins in Maine besides all the cost-efficient amenities, is you can enjoy your movie in the cool breeze, no humidity included. Don't forget the bug spray!

As you can imagine, the idea of Red Hot & Ladylike - a studio where you can classes on cabaret jazz, burlesque, go-go, and hip hop dancing - makes me very nervous especially since their motto is "bringing sexy back one lady at a time." The idea of touching myself, letting my hair down, and being seductive makes me wanna cringe... until I met MissE, the perfect person to run this kind of place. She's outgoing, she's empowered and empowering, she's encouraging, she's all accepting, and I couldn't think of a better person to help women find their inner diva, goddess, and all around badass self. I've taken several classes here now and it's always the same: 1. Sign up for the class. 2. Immediately regret it - I can't dance. I don't do sexy. What the hell was I thinking? 3. Show up and feel the warm sunshine that is MissE's personality. 4. Dance (awkwardly), have a ridiculous amount of fun, and get excited to try it again someday. Doesn't matter if you can or can't dance, doesn't matter if you're a woman or a man, doesn't matter if you're already leading with your vagina or not (this makes more sense when you take class with her)... this is fun, fun, fun even when it's uncomfortably (for me) hot, hot, hot. Good for one off experiences, good for getting a unique and different work-out in, good for meeting new open-minded and friendly people, good for bachelorette parties, and good for spicing up your romantic life (she does a "Bring Your Human Prop to Class" that I'd definitely do again!).

It's a beautiful facility built into the middle school and they did a nice job. The seats and acoustics were good and I'd definitely go back. The middle school in Biddeford has a similarly beautiful but underused facility and it's nice to see the Westbrook Performing Arts Center being used for concerts. Tip: When you park, back into the space so it's easy to get out after the show.
