Terrible service, no one at front desk to check you in or help with services. Waited for 3 hours .

It's nearly impossible to contact an actual person, one has to go through so much just to receive a call back , & even then you still have to wait only to not speak to anyone! It's truly inconvenient & ridiculous! I went in on Jan.30,2026 waited over 15 mins only to be told," I couldn't take my drug test because they didn't have the necessary supplies"! All I needed was antibiotics and they refused to do so. Cough medicine is not what I went for.

My husband and I each had an Instant Covid-19 test here (both were negative). We provided all of our BCBS insurance information and we thought everything would be covered, or at least mostly covered... Nope! Apparently MainStreet Family Care in Mobile is not in the BCBS Ntwrk. Be warned if you have certain BCBS Insurance or don't have insurance at all you're going to pay $125 a pop. My husband and I each received a bill this week saying we owe $125.00... $250 for both of us! $250.00 out of our pockets for Covid tests.... Well technically it looks like the majority of the bill is for "management of a new patient". That seems pretty high to me. Those were fees that we were not expecting. I wish we had known ahead of time. Hopefully this review helps somebody else avoid a surprise bill in the future. I definitely would have gone somewhere else and will not be back. I loved this urgent care the first time I came in but I had terrible experience today. Unfriendly staff: The lady in the front desk asked for my name but interrupted me which I thought wasn't proper. Waited for a while then when the nurse called my name, she never greeted me and just straight up said where should I go. Uninformative nurse: While I was having my chest xray, the lady didn't even instruct me to remove any metal objects on my body. Imagine if your daughter came in and did the xray with a necklace-- that would be a nightmare! Then, she didn't even offer the "protectors", I had to ask her again. I thought that they should inform everyone about the safety precautions cos what if the patient is not aware about these things. It's sad that it feels like they're just doing it "to get things done" without really thinking of their patients. However, I must say that the physician who checked on me was the opposite of the nurses and was really friendly so this rating is for her and I got done what I needed to do. read more

Be sure to register on line. The process was very easy and ran very efficient. The staff was courteous and very helpful. My husband went for both a COVID test and then the vaccine. I just had the vaccine. We will be back for the second shot. Be sure to check the time they open for registration starts two hours before. Wednesday and Sunday , i believe is different. read more

Online registration is great. Gives you an estimated wait time. Text come when you should come to clinic, text when you should come inside. Just know you may wait a little while inside too but not long at all. It took me an hour in and out from the time I got there to when I left. Staff was excellent. The facility is a little more beat up looking on the inside than you would think. I do understand that this newish building has been put through the ringer with Covid but the cleanliness and upkeep of the bathroom and exam room was a bit lacking. read more

Just run and don't look back staff are dogs doctor is unreliable, unreachable, untruthful and all of them except one or two that help with singular monthly clinics they seem legitimate and caring but that's volunteers the GP and staff what a mess most unapologetically rude slow aggroant and disrespectful ppl I've ever dealt with no matter if your poliet in any situation of no fault of your own still met with the coldest uncaring and times false information lies and mistakes are met with even more backlash against you the patient as if we done our job wrong only wrong I've done is to blindly trust a medical team . Mission statement "Road to recovery starts here" should be revised "slippery road ahead usually will end in relapse due to medication not correct and withdrawal for days multiple occasions nothing new " sad when in my addiction cost $200+ daily I did better job keeping myself from being in withdrawal for 3+ years than my own addiction doc and team can!! Left without medication after attending appointment passing paying for urine test but can't write prescription correctly nor fax new one for days and that's not exaggerating and not isolated occurence. It's an every second monthly appointment screw up for 3years and getting worse each month!! Might have been an tuned in compassionate doctor once upon a time but it's not this present day!! Just save yourself learning this sick in bed fighting to stay sober during 3-4th day of withdrawal and rudest staff to top off daily you might make it the first dozen times but come on it's called disease of addiction diseases win not fair fight and this doc in the wrong corner don't have a prayer!! my rate is 0..please do not come to this place. very unprofessional. i went there because it was around the corner from my house and it was closer than the hospital my son had a bad reaction.. throat, face and eyes swelling ran in asking for help and this nobody comes out and i asked him to please help my son he having a bad reaction. this man said please login the computer, i said can you please help my son? he said again you have to login before we can see him. i said if i thought i had time i would have done that when i walked in can u help my son. he said well take him to the hospital. wow i left and when we made it to the hospital they took him straight to the back. i cant let this go because what if i couldnt make it to the hospital. there was no other patients in the building and he refused to help my son im pissed.... read more

They where quick and reliable. My in-house visit to this urgent care was also very informative and professional.....

The staff at this clinic were dispassionate and devoid of any concern. After waiting for an hour longer than estimated in spite of the fact there were no cars in the parking lot, I was taken back for an initial exam. Neither one of the staff I subsequently spoke with listened. The first person left the room upon learning of a chronic health condition I have. She returned with a second person . She did not identify herself but I assume she was a nurse. She repeatedly interrupted with snide short replies in response to my efforts to explain the reason for my visit. I left after becoming convinced that neither she nor her colleagues were concerned for my well being. I will see my primary provider today and if my condition results in another hospital stay we are considering litigation given the clinics failure to assess my symptoms . read more

Quick and easy, super friendly staff. This place has separate waiting rooms for adults and children. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They quickly diagnosed my issue, ordered meds and got me on my way. read more

The nurses are very sweet and helpful. But I had a bad cough and they prescribed me meds that kept me up all night, so I called to see if there was another med I could get and I was told "don't take the cough medicine at night." Then I went to a new doc the next day and turns out I had pneumonia and not just a common cold. read more

I was told by my employer that I needed a negative COVID to fly because I was coughing and congested. I was trying everything to get in somewhere. Everyone was full and not taking new patients. I found MainStreet Family Care and it had an easy to fill out on line registration. All though I didn't get inside the doors until 5:30 pm and I started the registration at 10:30 am. I was very happy to have a confirmed time and I knew I would get tested to be able to fly out on Monday. The staff was very professional and I received excellent care. I would recommend them if you are needing urgent care and start early. read more
