Mix and match of some of their sausages on my home grill

The service is very neighborly. A friendliness that you don't find much in Miami. The sausage selection was the main draw for me and they have some great choices though after a holiday weekend they were a bit short which was honestly great to see. I'll be back soon to buy some of the ones I missed.

Amazing little German deli in Pinecrest. They have the best German chocolates and goodies. I especially love coming here in the winter months to buy stocking stuffer goodies. They also have yummy savory treats such as a bratwurst sandwich with sauerkraut. Please keep supporting this local staple!

We stopped by this place because my husband has a hankering for pastrami. Sadly, the owner Olga explained to us that currently they do not carry it, but we decided to try some of the sandwiches anyway. Olga is super nice and patiently answered our questions, explaining the different "wurst" and all the new and exciting (to me) grocery items they carry. She apologized that some stocks are low or out due to COVID, but there are still plenty of products that look interesting. I was excited to see boxes of De Ruijter chocolate sprinkles, which my Dutch friends have introduced to me. While most Americans only use them on ice cream sundaes, over there they are generously sprinkled over buttered toast as part of breakfast - for adults and kids alike! I got a can of Almdudler, a soda from Austria, to go with my knackswurst roll. The sausage is really tasty with a nice snappy casing. As for the sandwich, we ordered corned beef but not sure if that's what we got. There are also delicious looking salads in the case as well. The only down side is there is no sitting area at all, only a two-person table outside, so best to plan on take out.

Nice little market. I always walked by this place and wanted to try it until today.... I decided to come in an have a Brat. Bratwurst with sauertkraut and of course... mustard. Excellent served hot wrapped in foil just like in Germany. Add a beer and voila... lunch! Great German beer a premium pilsner. Perfect with my sandwich. This combo was $8.40 Excellent Service is friendly. The market has a few cold cuts and some cheese. Also crusty European style bread and lots of fruit preserves. German spices, etc. It isn't very stacked but it is mostly things you don't find at a regular market.

They have been around for FIFTY YEARS! I know because my friend that I went with has been going there for 40 years and the owner said that the just celebrated year 50. It is a small store, but the shelves have a lot of variety of products from Germany and the surrounding areas. A nice display of sausages and things of the like. My friend got egg salad and potato salad and swore it is the best around, yet my friend didn't offer me any. RUDE! Lol. Very nice little place and the owner is so very sweet. Stop by when you are in the area.

Nice little family owned deli/store. They sell products such jelly/jam, mustard, candies, cold cuts and many more things from Europe...Germany. Everything seems to be imported and most of the labels are in German (assuming here). They make sandwiches and have different types of cold salads available. We came for the sandwiches. We ordered roast beef on rye which was fresh and delicious. We waited a bit (worth it) since there were a few people before us and just two people tending the store. It seems to be run by the husband and wife (at least that what it seemed) and they have a constant stream of people. They were nice and knew some of the customers by name. There is a table outside for two but the place is not really intended for you to eat there. I thought the prices were fair for all the items they sell. The sandwiches we ordered were $6.95. Definitely coming back to try some more of the goodies they sell.

Cute little German store! It is very difficult to find German products in Miami. Mainzer's Deli has a variety of spices and treats from Germany. It is also the first place I've found to have sweet Bavarian mustard. They also have German chocolate and beer. From their deli section I tried the Sweden farmers cheese and it was super tasty! It was like a semi hard cheese, with a mild creamy flavor, just delicious. The owners are super friendly, I'm planning to go back closer to thanksgiving because they are going to be receiving all the traditional holidays goodies

Tiny shop, but stuffed with goodies!

For less than $9 out-the-door you can get the best pork sandwich (AKA pan con lechon) in Miami. This pork sandwich is off-the-bone from freshly cooked garlic pork shoulder that is chopped up with chicharron mixed in, so that you get the crunch at almost every bite. They put about a pound of lechon (pork) into a footlong Cuban bread roll and press it. It's very special! They have other foods that you can consider. They have combos, known in Miami as a "Completa", that include rice, beans, plantains and the main meat dish. As you'll be able to see in my pictures, today they had Fricase de pollo (chicken fricassee) and carne con papa (beef stew). A combo plate of either one of those will weigh close to 5 lbs. No kidding. You can always take it home and leave some for later, or just split it with someone else. The seating inside, however, isn't great. There's a counter with high chairs behind the ordering station. I mostly see people taking it home or eating it in the car. There's also a good amount of people just devouring these sandwiches standing up around the parking lot. The inside is not really worth eating in. The service here is fast and attentive. The employees are very courteous and professional. They earn their tips!

Food, service and ambiance is 10/10!…read more My husband and I loveee burgers and we love to go around town tasting good burger spots and we can say this burger spot is legit delicious! It's in our top 3 burger spots, hands down. We came to eat today to try out this place for my first time as he has been here before. As soon as I finished my burger, I told my husband I'm writing a review for this amazing place immediately! We've gone to other burger spots in Miami and I was skeptical of all the hype since other places get hyped as well but has let us down. BURGER - single smash patty (my husband had the double patty), cheese, pickles, and sriracha mayo, we added bacon. Usually I like my burger with all the fixins instead of simple, but I gave it a chance anyway and I'm so glad I did! Delicious is an understatement. The burger tasted like perfection - well seasoned and juicy. We were content and satisfied once we finished the burger. FRIES - perfect, fresh, crispy, hot fries with cheese on the side. Fries were delicious at every bite. Cheese tasted good as well. Other places have greasy fries that have a taste of the oil they use, but this place did not! Fries were PERFECT. SERVICE - Everyone was welcoming, helpful and friendly. We had a positive experience and had great service from the cashier on the inside seating area. I love the fact that they served us on REAL plates. It gave us a warm, personalized welcoming feel and almost like if it was home made. This place also sells fresh meat, pasta, sourdough bread and other items. Everything look clean, organized and well kept in cool temperatures. I definitely recommend this place and my husband and I will be back for more!

I stopped by this well-established "bakery" chain for a quick bite. I chose the Pinecrest location because I always thought it was the nicer one. Other locations, particularly Doral, leave a lot to be desired in terms of ambiance. That's not to say this location is anything extraordinary, but at least it feels like a place you'd actually want to sit down and visit. It's been a long time since I last came here. I can't remember if they always stayed open until 9 PM on regular days, but I distinctly remember that on weekends at least, they used to close around 6 PM, and that by 5:30 PM the kitchen was often already shutting down. Because I generally wake up around 2 or 3 PM on weekends, this place became impractical for me long ago. I eventually found far better options closer to home that stay open later and offer a much broader selection of bakery/pastry items, all-day breakfast, while also offering sandwiches, entrées, desserts, and just about everything else. Still, after years of rotating through the same places, my friend and I decided to venture out, especially since I had woken up "early" by my standards. We arrived around 5 PM and I was absolutely floored by the menu prices. Wagyu or not, a smash cheeseburger for $25? A seafood fettuccine for $36? At a 3.6-star corner bakery? Dishes that cost around $18 a few years ago, such as the Black Forest ham and cheese scramble with coffee and orange juice, are now effectively $24 once you add the $2 extra charge for the coffee and small orange juice that used to be included. That's a staggering 33% increase from what was already an expensive meal three years ago. And that percentage doesn't tell the whole story, because even back then their prices were already 30% to 50% higher than many of their competitors. And let's be honest: the supposedly superior ingredients didn't exactly create some unforgettable culinary experience. You'd be hard-pressed to tell the difference between their Black Forest ham and the regular ham served elsewhere. Back to yesterday's visit. I had already driven there and didn't feel like searching for another place. Plus, my usual order at bakeries is a ham and cheese croissant, and that happened to be one of the few things on their menu that hadn't reached absurd pricing territory. At around $8, it's arguably one of their better deals, especially considering that a croissant filled with Nutella or some other typical filling costs roughly the same. Granted, it's not even a traditional ham and cheese croissant like the ones found in 99% of bakeries. It's a smaller version with the ham and cheese baked inside, almost like a pastelito. So when you factor this in, it's equally overpriced. Naturally, destiny enjoys playing jokes on me. The waitress informed me that they had already run out of croissants... at 5 PM... in a bakery supposedly known for its croissants. She then explained that they had shifted "more toward their bistro concept." I couldn't help but wonder: what bistro? Adding a few wildly overpriced restaurant dishes to your menu doesn't magically transform a bakery into a bistro. It simply gives the impression that you've drifted away from your original identity. And that's unfortunate because, as a French bakery, the selection here is already surprisingly limited. Compare them to competitors like Bonjour French Bakery and the difference becomes obvious. They simply can't compete. La Boulangerie mostly offers a handful of pastries and some jarred desserts and calls it a day. As for the coffee, both Bonjour French Bakery and Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar completely outclass them. Their coffee is richer, smoother, more flavorful, their prices are more reasonable, and their menus offer a broad selection, from all day breakfast to sandwiches, entrées, as well as pastas. Which brings me to the giant sign in the middle of the restaurant that proudly says "BAKERY" and to the word "BOULANGERIE" itself, the French term for a bakery specializing in bread and baked goods. Those words have never felt more irrelevant. There's a reason this place sits at a 3.6-star average rating as of this review. Had I seen that beforehand, I never would have driven this far based solely on memories from two years ago. I have a simple rule when it comes to restaurants: I don't go anywhere with less than four stars on Yelp. This visit was a good reminder of why.
