Quaint little coffee, pastry, breakfast spot. It feels family owned with locals popping by for their morning espresso and what I presume is the owner - extremely friendly. I had the "salty brunch" which includes an thin omelette, bread & jam, orange juice, and fresh fruit. It was simple and just what I needed. The espresso was of course delicious. The jam though... game changer. I almost asked to purchase some but I literally cannot fit anything else in my luggage. What I enjoyed the most was the charming atmosphere. So casual and local. It's just off the beaten path so (thanks yelp) I wouldn't have found it on my own. It was a slow start to the day and a perfect place to get the day going. If I came back I would try the sweet brunch.. I bet it's full of Nutella goodness and perfect with a cappuccino :) ! read more

This small cafe is definitely a 10/10 stop for breakfast in Nice. All I expect when traveling is good food and pleasant service, and there is a lack of neither. There morning menu has two options, a salty or sweet brunch option at €12 a person. Salty includes: fresh orange juice, 3 slices of bread with jam, any type of coffee, an omelette with a salad. Sweet includes: everything the salty has except swapping out the omlette with a crepe and homemade whipped cream The food was well done and the company was great. I could not stop eating the fresh bread and jam. This was a hearty meal with no regrets. read more

Their brunch is just plain amazing. Their jam and bread go together like magic, and their fresh squeezed orange juice matches well with the fruit cup. Also, the omelet or the crepe (whichever you may choose) may appear plain and simple, but tastes rich and leaves you craving for more afterwards. Simply amazing :) must visit! read more

I try not to go more than once to the same restaurant when I'm traveling, but it was hard to keep this routine when I went to Maison. I went there 3 times while staying in Nice, and would have gone more times if I had stayed longer.This little charming cafe is run by this lovely lady (which I failed on asking the name) and sits only a few people. I got the same option 2 days in a role, which was the brunch special, with fruit salad, fresh squeezed orange juice, cheese omelet, salad, cappuccino and bread with jelly (make sure to try the citrus jelly). All cost 12€. Everything tasted delicious but I have to highlight the bread, which is outstanding and an absolute must try. It is the best bread I've ever had, and trust me, I've had many types of bread because I'm a bread lover and a carb addicted. She mentioned that the bread is made at her family's bakery and they bring it fresh every day to the cafe. The third day I had the veggie pie, which was delicious too! I loved this place and if I go back to Nice, I will probably have breakfast there every day again. read more

This place is so cute and cozy! Found on yelp and went to try it. She cooks everything by herself in such a cute little cafe! Everything was so delicious. She is so nice and speaks English, which is so helpful cause we don't speak French. The area is convenient to local shopping and a church and play ground nearby. My friend and I went here for breakfast during our weekend trip to Nice and it was our favorite meal we got the entire time there! On top of that it was also the best service we have received from almost our entire time in Europe. The young waitress was eager to help us and made us feel welcomed. My wife and I came here two days in a row during our honeymoon. The service is friendly, the breakfast is tasty and fresh, and the view across from the church and playground is pleasant. The name on the sign is a bit different than what's listed here, but just look for the green paint and awning. This place was fantastic. 3 different breakfast/brunch options were available when I visited early in the morning, with a la carte options available as well. The orange juice was fresh-squeezed and delicious, I opted for an Earl Grey tea as my "hot" drink option and it was very good, the fruit was very fresh, the eggs were tasty, and the bread and jam were great. This spot made our last morning here in Nice! The owner was so sweet and accommodating, we mentioned wanting to sit outside and when the last table got taken, she moved one of the indoor tables out for us! We arrived into Nice airport very late at night and ended up having to stay the night in the airport. by the time we finally got in to the city and found out we had 3 hours before we could check into our hostel, of course we were very tired and grumpy. this place was exactly what we needed! 12 euro for alooooot of food (omelette, little salad, bread, jam, butter, fruit, fresh orange juice squeezed in that moment, coffee). she was so kind to us and she said we can stay as long as we want, but sorry she doesn't have beds for us! really so friendly and warm and i'm sure we will return even if only for a coffee. read more

Fantastic breakfast spot in Nice. We had (and split) one Savory brunch and two Sweet brunches between four of us. The juice, breads, fruit, croissant, and crepe (Nutella) / omelet were outstanding. What a LOVELY gem of a cafe! My husband and I came for brunch, which the quality and amount of food (VERY substantial) for the price was great. We got the "brunch mix," which included: -espresso beverage or other hot drink -fresh squeezed orange juice (I saw the machine she used to press the oranges on site!) -freshly baked croissants (SO flaky) and bread (very flavourful crust with soft inside) with butter and preserves -egg omelet with cheese (my husband can't have dairy so they offered one with a meat or veggie instead) -sweet crepe: this was so delicious! It was sweet but not overly so, I love how it was served without a filling so you could appreciate how delicious it was. It did come with a dollop of whipped cream. -fruit salad cup: apples, nectarines, mango, papaya, and banana. All this was 16 euro, but there are other combos for less. We left stuffed and extremely satisfied! Plus there is a spot to eat outside with a view of a kids' playground and church. read more
