This was one of our favorite cafés in Nice! The owner was so sweet and really caring! She kept the café super clean! She gave us recommendations on what to do around the city as well as what to eat! The food was great, the coffee was phenomenal- apparently they get their beans from Italy! No wonder! We came here almost every morning we stayed in Nice. 100% recommend!

Adorable and delicious- you can't go wrong. Very close to la Fontaine du Soleil, and had helpful staff as well.

Very nice place for a quick eat or breakfast. Good service, authentic food. Mocktail de fleur is quite good and unique. Veau soup is rich and delicious. All comes with a piece of bread.

I was in Nice for work. I was with a friend and wanted a traditional restaurant that was close to the Place Massena. It was raining and cold, so we headed there. It was early, around 5. We were greeted by Tomi, Whom we learned later, was the owner. They have a covered terrace with portable heaters. He has 2 rocket chairs and regular tables. The place is small but very cozy. The decor is very cute and inviting. For drinks we had the most delicious flower tea and my friend had a cider from Bretagne. She said was really good. My friend had a lamb choix and mashed potatoes. Very tasteful and served in the cutest glass jars. It comes with bread. I had ratatouille and mashed potatoes. Also delicious and fresh. The food isn't cooked in the premises, but it's very fresh. For dessert we had traditional macarons (not the colorful super sweet new macaroons) and madeleines. The best I've had. The customer service was outstanding, the restaurant beautiful and the food delicious.

Staff was sweet. Greeted with a smile even tho they seemed super busy. So much outdoor seating, ambiance is fairly busy even in late november. Would totally recommend

Quality/Quantity - Sorry, I actually enjoyed yesterday's coffee and pastry more. This was not bad,…read morebut it was just that yesterday was better. Got my usual americano with milk. I like the fact that they gave the milk on the side so I can do my own froth art, lol. And more importantly, I was able to control how much milk to add. The pastry was "flat," did it get crushed...? It was still good/okay. Ambiance - A very small shop on the main road. Well because it was on the main road (yesterday's cafe was on the side road next to the main road), I think I enjoyed it less. There were too many people walking by who were too close to me. Too many people interrupting my morning coffee asking for $$. Yesterday, I stayed an hour drinking my coffee, today... 20 minutes. Service - Counter service. It was okay and quick. He cracked jokes with the people behind me. Hard workers also, not sure if they were brothers...? Price - 7 Euros, $8.20 USD. 10 Euros minimum for credit card. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success.

Hobo totally became our go to spot while staying in Nice, France…read more The first day I arrived I saw Hobo on our walk to our airbnb. I stopped for a fresh green juice and it was delicious! Perfectly sweet and tangy. There was quite a long wait but I didn't mind it as the fresh drink made up for it. I came in an extra 2-3 more times during my 4 day stay. Once popped in for chocolate croissant... it was later in the day so it wasn't as fresh but still enjoyable. The next stop was for a morning brunch. My friends and I were starved. I started off with a fresh carrot, turmeric, and ginger based juice which was the perfect wake up call... I also definitely needed it after several days of not eating the healthiest. Then I ordered their shredded egg avocado toast and OMG it was soooo good!! Very simple yet one of the bests avo toasts i've had. I also ordered a cappuccino, it was so delicious (after adding sugar lol) I'm not really a coffee person so I wasn't sure if it was just me being in europe that made me fall in love with cappuccinos or it was really that good haha. All in all, Hobo was the cutest little cafe! Great for a quick coffee, a big breakfast, or just a short little hangout on their terrace!
