Majestic is my go to place for detailing my Tesla Model S P100D. Not only are Amir and Emily very friendly, they take such care in their work. I have a short haired dog that rides with me everywhere and he sheds like crazy! Needless to say, it's a lot of work to get all the hair out but every time I bring my car to Majestic it comes back looking like new, inside and out. They even take the time to clean his car seat and window sill covers. Couldn't recommend this place more if you want a high quality detail. read more

I am writing on behalf of my elderly mother who cannot use the internet. She recently visited the shop and I think the person who helped her was named Amir. She mentioned Amir was very nice, and since my mother lives quite far from the shop, Amir offered her a ride to the mall to hang out while the car is being worked on. She was picked up and brought back as well. The car came back super shiny and clean, and the scratches were fixed. There is also a super nice husky on site. read more

I pulled into their parking lot while looking for the oil change place next door. One of their employees asked me to move and while explaining to me where to park / where to move my car, another employee (maybe the manager or owner?) Started yelling over the other employee, at me to move. I tried to tell him that she was explaining to me where to go but he immediately became super aggressive! I backed my car up in a hurry and then he accused me of "almost" hitting his customer and took a picture of my license plate! What an unnecessarily aggressive and angry man! I would NEVER recommend anyone come here, especially a woman, unless you like having a posturing jerk who clearly needs anger management and has never heard of being polite or "customer service" up in your grill. I was so impressed with the service here! Amir and a lovely lady assisted me (I can't remember her name unfortunately) but they squeezed me in for a last minute day-of appointment as my dog puked all over my rear car seat. They cleaned the ENTIRE CAR and my seats have never felt cleaner or smoother. They also fixed something completely unrelated that had been broken in my car for a while (major bonus!). I picked up my JEEP Wrangler after getting the 'Majestic Mini Detail' treatment. I couldn't be happier. The service was first rate. Reading all of these negative reviews, it's hard to believe that I went to the same place! My appointment was booked quickly and easily - I booked online/inquired, and received a call the very next morning to set up an appointment for the following day. Excellent! Price was definitely on the higher end, but I did not see anything else that was much lower in my search for car detailing in the tri-cities, so nothing negative to say about that. When I came to drop off the car they offered me a ride home - which was lovely. The agent also walked me through everything that they were going to do and very clearly explained the cost and what to expect. The car came out looking fabulous and they did a great job. There is NO CHANCE that you will be able to just use the coupon without paying for some other service. Stay away from this place. This company provides love and attention to clients' car, and to the client. They're incredibly nice people and kind and caring. I honor them. The quality of work is superb. Professional detailing, experienced staff and high end equipment/Chemicals. The facility is very clean. The siding area is comfortable with TV and a wide choice of magazines. The washroom smells good and is spotless. And their dog... is a joy to see, work those piercing eyes. I have no hesitation to recommend them and I will be back. Here's my story: The persian guy who answered the phone told me to get the right info and call him back. Being in his records, I asked him if he could get it instead. His reply was, " I don't have time for this" (like I do). "Call me back with the information and I might just make an appointment for you" - MIGHT?!?!?!?! HIGH AND MIGHTY is more like it. So I make the call . . . . yes, I'm behind on my schedule, now. I called him back with the information, and he said, "yes, you can come on March 5th." one month from now?....yes, BUT even better ..... I give two stars because I didn't actually get my car detailed, I was turned off by my conversation with staff. So that extra star is for the faint hope that despite their poor customer service they might actually do a decent job. I called with full intention of going there but ended up noticing that their prices were higher than the website and when called them out about it they reduced it over the phone. So they will milk you for every penny if they can. Their staff desperately need a customer service course at the very least. I didn't feel any sort of confidence to go and try their services, they sounded like they were only interested in making some money and I'm sorry but there are many car detailers to choose from, I'll be trying somewhere else. EDIT: They other detailers were closed. And I was forced to go here... the detail job was very good... still really pushed the extra services... I recently took my car in to detail. Over the years, I have struggled to remove my pug's hair effectively so there was significant buildup. They did a great job removing most/all of the pet hair and the inside looked like new. I was really impressed. It was quite pricy, but I think that given the initial condition of my car, it was understandable and expected. I didn't have a coupon, which might explain why my experience was different from that of other reviewers who had negative experiences. read more

Sorry in advance for the long review, but I'm writing it all down because I'm that annoyed. I wish I would have read the other reviews on Yelp before I bought the Groupon for this place!! I usually read bad reviews and take them with a grain of salt, but seeing that the other reviewers had the exact same experience as me, some going back over a year ago, I felt I should add in a specific review as well. I was feeling lazy & didn't mind paying that day for someone to detail my car in & out. No shampooing necessary, just vacuum, dust & wash - plus, my crossover is new and in excellent shape anyway, so it's not like it was a big, dirty job or anything. Should have been pretty easy, right? Nope! When I bought the Groupon for $55 I thought the reg. price was expensive... but again, I was feeling lazy & just wanted it done that afternoon. I drove over to Majestic to see about getting the detailing done... and NO ONE was there. The 2 bay doors were wide open with a car parked in the garage & all it's doors & back hatch completely open. The car belongings were scattered on the ground beside the car - all wide open to the public. I walked into the office thinking that the service person was in the washroom, but soon discovered there was definitely no one around. I had this Groupon for $55, so I walked back to my car & started folding the blankets I carry to neaten up the car, and to also kill time to see if anyone turned up. A white van pulled up about 5 minutes later and a guy hopped out. Walked over to me and asked if I had an appt. I said no, I don't... I was just going to see... and before I could finish my statement, he interrupted and asked if I had a coupon. I told him I did, and he told me he couldn't get me in for a (required!) appt. for another 3 WEEKS. 3 weeks for a simple in & out clean?! Are you kidding me? And then he asked to see the Groupon to verify it. When I showed him the coupon code, I realized that the Groupon had "been viewed" and remembered the website says that you can refund a Groupon within 3 days, but only if you haven't "viewed it" yet. Well, it was my mistake to let this guy view it, but then I felt like I wouldn't get a refund... so I booked an appt. when he said I could. He seemed COMPLETELY disinterested in having me there. He was short and abrupt when talking to me, and to be honest, he kind of treated me like I was interrupting his day. The icing on the cake came when he opened my back door to look in, and said - Oh, there's dog hair on one side, that's an extra $75. I said, what? $75? I don't need a shampoo, so I'm okay thanks. He said, no, $75 is just to vacuum the hair up. I balked and told him, no thanks. Seriously, there was NOT that much hair in the first place! I told him I didn't want that extra service because the dog goes in & out all the time and I have a Shop Vac at home so I maintain the car pretty well myself. I had really just wanted a quick clean before the weekend started... but because I couldn't get in there that day, I would run the Shop Vac at home later. He shrugged and said, suit yourself. He then tells me he needs the car between 9am and 3pm the day of the appt. I say again, oh, no, I don't need shampoo thanks. He tells me that this is the standard time they keep their cars for detailing. (Well that would explain why the other car had just been sitting there.) Like I said, I didn't like ANY of what had happened so far, but I knew that I could cancel the appt. and just eat the money if I changed my mind, so I just let it all go, got into my car & drove away. I got home, started to think about the whole experience and began to get more and more pissed off. I have been to several GREAT detail places in Port Moody (see another review) and not only were they able to detail my car immed, but they were super polite and nice and their regular prices were LESS than this stupid place was with a Groupon. For all the same work! I emailed Groupon, explained in short that I didn't want to use this coupon after all.... even though it had been viewed. Groupon was GREAT! They responded within 20 mins, & explained that I because had contacted them within their 3 day limit, they could cancel the Groupon and refund my money. Boom! Just like that. The next day I went over the another detail place and it was AMAZING!! And you know what they charged for the dog hair? $5. That's it. Five, freaking dollars to vacuum a little harder in the one spot she sits in the car. And listen, before you think that I'm a slob and wonder if Majestic was looking at my car like a big project... that couldn't be further from the truth. My car got a TEN min in & out clean and it looks back to brand new. So there was NO reason to have my car for 6 hours and charge that much. I wouldn't recommend Majestic to anyone at this point - and I was so turned off by my experience that I obviously took to Yelp to warn others. read more

Pleased! When I read the reviews I was a little leery. Amir took me in right away, he had excellent customer service over the phone, I actually cancelled last minute and they didn't give me any grief about it. Then when I realized I could make it, phoned back and they gave my appointment back. He pushed for a polish which I was ok with because it was still inside my budget. But I didn't feel pressured or like he was being rude at all. He even offered advice if I get a few dabs of sap on my car in the future what I should do. I had all the tree sap taken off my car, and my car was covered in it, no joke.... I told them the budget I was working within. After taxes it went over budget but overall I'm super happy. My car looks so nice! Going back in December to get the interior done. For any of these kinds of places, get your price up front, do a little research and you'll know what to expect. read more

While I can't comment on the actual work of Majestic Auto Spa, I am not impressed with their business ethics. I purchased a Living Social coupon in hopes of getting my car looking nice for the summer. I called to make an appointment and the guy (very abruptly) told me the next available appointment was in September!!! (And I called in early May) This is absolutely ridiculous. If you're going to sell online coupons you should be ready, and have enough staff to accommodate the amount you sell. (And they set the limit of coupons they sold). I have since got a refund from Living Social, and won't be buying one for this business ever again. read more

I have to agree with most of the comments about Majestic auto detailing. The customer service is definitely in need of some polish. I too used a groupon and it took over 6 weeks to get in. The staff showed up late and the owner's prickly demeanor gave the impression he hates his job. Yes the business is about car detailing but above all else it is about people and customer satisfaction. I will admit the cleaning was very good. If they learn to smile and treat the customer with the same lustre they put into the work I would recommend the place. As it stands now, not a chance. read more

Wow what service! My Jeep is a 2007 and I have never had it pro cleaned. I have a little boy that makes quite the mess in it and it was time for a real clean. I made the mistake of reading all of these reviews before going in and it almost changed my mind. Even though my experience with their customer service on the phone and via email while booking my appointment was exceptional, the bad reviews on here still worried me. I'm glad i stuck with the appointment i had made because when i met them in person, their customer service was even better. I dropped my car off for a full day and when i picked it up it looked brand new. And this is a 1997 CRV i'm talking about, It was not in very good shape. From start to finish they were very helpful with picking a service, dropping my car off, going through it with me explaining what they were going to do, showing me certain areas that might be a problem (which they didnt charge me for) and when i picked it up they walked me through it again and i left feeling VERY happy. Yes, they are a little more expensive, but it is well worth it. If you book online, they give you 20% off! I will for sure go back. read more

I had a fantastic experience her. There was a price concern about a quote, but the owner handled the situation above and beyond what was necessary. The job done was fantastic as my car was brutal when I handed them the keys. I work as a cabinetmaker and the car was used to carpool, so you can imagine the dust that took hold of the interior, but when my new baby boy came around we decided to change cars and I did not want the dust to be an issue with his developing lungs. Work Done - Good Customer Service - The Worst Ever Like many of the other reviews I bought a voucher through Living Social. I waited 5 months for my Saturday appointment and then when I showed up they had to "inspect my vehicle". Upon their "inspection" they said I had to pay an additional $50 because I had "sand in my carpet". What they didn't know is that my husband was sitting beside my car in his truck and he said they literally opened the door and closed it...DIDN'T EVEN LOOK AT THE CARPET UNDER MY RUBBER MATT. When I was apprehensive about the $50 he said "If I didn't pay it they couldn't clean my car" and "he was doing me a favor because my car was also going to need 'extensive spot cleaning' on my front passenger seat which he wasn't going to charge extra for". I had already waited so long for my appointment and had driven in from over the bridge so I decided to just go for it and yes my car looked good but for the price of the coupon + the additional charge I could've just gone to somewhere closer to home that would have done just as good a job and wouldn't have been such an inconvenience. Overall terrible customer service, wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

They honoured my coupon and gave me a fair deal on the rest of my request. The result was better than expected. There was no pressure oversell.
