I should have listed to the other reviewers here- absolutely the same - great service until you have an issue! I have ordered small batch samples and then finally ready to launch full set of products, I ordered a large format melt and pour solutions and it completely fell apart, ruined all of my components and they won't answer me. I have shared pictures, and multiple requests for either help, a new container of products or a refund and now not even a response. Really disappointed. read more

I have been a customer of Majestic Mountain Sage for over a decade. Their customer service is hands-down excellent! I do not remember a time they did not ship same day if ordered by noon. I have spoke on the phone with many of the people there, over the course of probably hundreds of phone calls and been treated with utmost professionalism. Thank you Andee for going out of your way today to first call and notify me and then to ship my stearic acid, which I'm sure someone had to unload from an incoming truck, and package, and ship all on the same day so I can complete my urgent production! This makes me really sad. I just started working with them, placed a nice order, and I have been looking forward to creating products for my business based on their very helpful advice. I spoke with Taylor yesterday. She listened to me. She had great suggestions based on what I had to say to her. I have been very excited. It sounds as if MMS has a great track record until there is a problem with a product. Customers expect loyalty from a business owner when they receive a product that does not meet their standards. That is how Amazon has built such an amazing and VERY strong business. These pitiful reviews could have possibly been avoided if management had chosen to work with their customers rather than to piss them off. In metro Atlanta, we used to have a HUGE pharmacy known as Drug Emporium. They treated their customers with similar disdain and now Drug Emporium is no more. Armed with this information, I will proceed with caution. I do hope that the company has changed their perspective towards their customers - these reviews are at least 3 years old now - and that they have a different attitude about customer service. As mentioned earlier, I had a great experience yesterday and I hope to build a strong and positive working relationship with MMS. Of course, every relationship is two-sided. Time will only tell how this will evolve. BTW, I would have given even 5 stars but now I am VERY cautious because of the proliferation of 1 star reviews. I have been a customer for many, many years and their customer service is some of the best in the industry - bar none! They have an incredible selection of products, resulting in my being able to buy everything in one place. They are also very conscious of costs and make an amazing effort to give us, their customers, the best prices available. I have never waited more than twenty-four hours for the order to be completed and shipped; and their shipping cost are kept as low as possible - and sent UPS. I have never waited for more than a week between placing the order and having it in my hands. I have had occasions to call them on the 'phone and they have always been most helpful; perhaps as a result of my respectful attitude towards them. I had ordered and paid for an item that wasn't actually available at the time. Andy called and left a voicemail for me to ask what I would like to do. Almost simultaneously they had phone problems and I couldn't get thru. So I left an email requesting a substitution. Tina emailed me back promptly while I was away from my desk. I also called her at lunch an their phones were back up and she was helpful, courteous, very positive and assured me that my order was updated and that the substitution was made. She also let me know that if I decided to reorder the scent I had to substitute for that I could use a shipping discount they were currently running for this month. I've always received excellent product from MMS and I was really happy with the customer service I received today as well. I am a satisfied customer! read more

I'm taking my business elsewhere after several years of ordering from MMS. You will be quite happy with them until you have an issue. I had an issue with the $72 lb of emu oil I bought for my lotion on my last order and they refused to allow me to return it. I've been making candles and body care for 13 years. And I KNOW my oils. Trust me. I can't imagine EVER treating a customer of mine who had ordered from me for years the way that I was treated on the phone. Yes, I understand that the stearines in emu oil will separate from the liquid part of the oil when it's cold. That isn't my issue. Don't let the oil separate in your warehouse and then sell me the watery leftover that rose to the top of the container. I have 8 bottles of lotion sitting on a shelf that I refuse to sell now because it doesn't feel rich like its supposed to. The woman suggested that I re-formulate (in a very condescending tone). Are you serious? Change the formula it took me years to perfect to accommodate YOUR inferior oil? I don't think so. I have already found a reputable supplier and now my lotion is back to its original glory. Just type Majestic Mountain Sage and the word reviews into google and you'll see they have a history of treating their customers with disrespect. I no longer trust them for any of their oils. Either they don't properly care for their oils by storing in the proper temperature or they are diluting their oils. Either way, I can't afford to take a risk knowing I will get zero cooperation, in fact, I can expect to be personally attacked, if I question any if the products I order from them. I've already found a new oil supplier with better prices. read more
