When we first arrived, we filled out a form that asked what kind of massage we wanted and what kind of pressure. I didn't know what kind to choose so I chose reflexology and I opted for light pressure (Swedish). There was nothing light about the beginning of my massage. The pressure was medium but closer to heavy. This pressure was applied in my neck and shoulder area which caused me to have sore shoulders and neck the very next day. My shoulders are still tender to the touch. The rest of the massage, however, was perfect. The pressure was just right and I appreciated the stretches the masseuse did while he gave me a massage. I felt so relaxed I ended up dozing off for a minute. I'll definitely return. The price is so affordable... you can't beat it ($120 for 60 min couples massage). I've specified several times just my upper back, just my neck, only my shoulder no lower half! Last week I went in around 7:30. Received the most painfully inconsiderate massage. The guy never asked if I was ok when I was tapping the table and flinching. He was yelling to the guy at the front and sucking his teeth every-time someone came in. Due to the mall closing at 8. Although the massage was one of the most painful my shoulder felt so much relief so I chalked it up to me being sore and him being ready to go home. Yesterday was the last straw. I only asked for 10 minutes because I didn't have much time. I showed the guy where my pain was and said only my shoulder and neck. He said shoulder and neck to clarify. I say yes and proceed to lay down. I wasn't sure if that was the same guy that usually touches my behind so I made sure he knew what I wanted and did not want touched. The first 3 minutes he was on my glutes and even went in my crack. I redirected him to my shoulder a few moments later her was back on my glutes. I asked him to stop and he acted as is he didn't hear me and moved to the other side. I asked how much time was left to which he ignore me. I sat up preventing him from massaging me. I asked him to stop the timer so I can finish with someone else. He appeared confused but I know he wasn't. This guy has done this several times before but this was the last time! When he did attempt my shoulder he pressed out it like a cat pouncing no technique no pressure just my body rocking and my butt shaking to the point he needed to adjust and smooth the sheet over my lower half again. They originally wanted me to pay him for 6 minutes but I explained to the guy at the front that I told him to stop several times and he ignored me. Once I sat up he continued to let the time run and made it appear as if we were almost done. I was annoyed but patiently waited for another person. To sum her up she was too light and due to whatever she was told the massage was complete trash and was about 5 minutes. This is the first time I didn't tip and i am also making that my last visit. The guy at the front kept mentioning they didn't charge me for the 6 minutes from the guy it was free and I told him it should be. He asked if I didn't like it and I told him no he was touching me where I asked not to be touched and just shaking my butt on the table. He responded with a slight laugh and smirk and said it was no good and I said absolutely not. The lady that finished the massage stood there and waited for her tip. I asked how many minutes did she go and they said 10 but that's a lie. It was about 5 minutes if that. I wasted my time and money. Very uncomfortable. As much as I love the massage when done right I can't keep doing this to myself. I was asked "for two" and I thought I was being asked if I was booking a massage for two people so I said "yes". I have no idea what the different kinds of massage are. When we arrived we each had two massage personnel. I didn't know what I was supposed to expect. Is that normal? I didn't know. I was asked standing up and asked to remove my robe with four people in the room. Is that normal? It felt very uncomfortable. It turned out that two ladies worked on me and two ladies worked on my husband. The massage table face hole was very uncomfortable. When I got home I was sad to see I have a bruise on my face under my lip from the table pressing into my skin. The massage was a lot of deep pressure, but uneven. The same things were not done on both sides so it felt unbalanced. Prior to starting the massage I used Google translate to share where I needed them to be careful, but I had to remind them to be gentle when they reached my artificial joint because they must have forgotten. The massage seemed okay to me because I like deep pressure but my husband said he felt like it was too deep for his liking. When we went to settle at the counter, we were charged an additional $160 beyond the $160 gift certificates we had. We were also pressed for a tip for four people. My husband tipped well, because the ladies had physically worked hard for the hour. We can't spend another $400+ on a massage here. Make sure that you fully understand what you are booking before you walk into the room. I thought I was purchasing off of the menu on the counter, which is $80 for an hour. The booking touch screen didn't say anything about the booking being for something special. It just asked if I wanted to sign up for specials and what kind of pressure I wanted and where did I want treatment on my anatomy. If I had known I was being booked into something so pricey I would have made sure I only wanted to use my gift certificate amount.
