My scalp hasn't been the same since my visit in mid March and I mean that in the best way possible! I booked the dry scalp service and also did the silk press add-on. From the beginning consultation and scalp analysis to the pure bliss of laying on a massage table for a thoroughly enjoyable scalp cleanse, scalp, neck and shoulder massage, hair wash, steam treatment and conditioner, everything about this appointment was wonderful. My friends gifted me a certificate to use at Lola Rosa Head Spa for my birthday. I didn't book my appointment online because I had a few questions so I called. The young lady I spoke with answered all and I had to pay a $50 deposit which you cannot use your gift card in lieu of. She said it will go towards my service like most deposits do. My appt was the same week so I opted with the Greenbelt location since that's the closest to me. GPS took me to the opposite side of the building and I feel like it does that with all the addresses in this professional building area because another lady was asking me where buildings were lol. Luckily there's enough people walking around to guide you. I got to my appt a few mins early and the scent smell inside was amazing, like fresh linen. Light melodic music, just very tranquil like a spa should be. The young lady who opened the door for me showed me where the bathroom and water/tea section was while waiting for my appt to start. I then met Diarra who went over my questionnaire I had to fill out online after my appt. (Heads up, it's very lengthy and they want to know all details about your hair products, skins issues, etc.) She then began the scalp analysis to see if there's any red spots or sores on the scalp which I had none. I was her longest haired client that day so I felt bad she was about to use all her hand power lol. You then change your top half to a robe and lay on the table with shoes off and light weight paper mask on. My experience was magical. I literally shed a few tears on the table within 5 mins of her starting because I was so relaxed from the amount of stress I was\am under. Diarra hands are gifted and I told her this during the service and after. You get a thorough shampoo wash, a steam treatment, a conditioner, a neck and shoulder massage and another head massage. It was phenomenal. I then added on the blow dry as a last minute decision because I didn't want the headache of doing it my own later that evening. That service was an additional $50 because of my length of hair which I got mixed up for $15 when I saw the add-on prices. We talked and laughed during the blow dry and then I got dressed and paid my difference and tip at the tablet. Lola Rosa is a place where I would go to once a month to get this treatment again by Diarra. The only small slight suggestion I would have is to add on a glass of champagne before the service starts lol. read more

I visited Lola Rosa head spa about a month ago and the experience was unmatched. I initially got a bit lost as the GPS took me to the back of the building, so if that happens just drive to the other side of the building and you won't miss it. Mesha serviced me and she was amazing, when I got lost, she met me outside and helped me find the location. I received the nurture me (growth) experience and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I love scalp massages so I literally slept like a baby during this experience. It was so relaxing. The whole place is relaxing, from the calming music to the calming nature of the professional who serviced me. We started with a scalp analysis which was truly helpful to determine any scalp damage etc. then took off my shirt and i was covered with a towel. This was an hour of amazingness! Wow. Truly relaxing. Just FYI it's just a hair wash, there is no styling or anything after. I know when I first booked there was no option for blow drying but I see now that they have it for an additional cost. Overall great experience, definitely book Mesha! I've been under a lot of stress lately--so much so that my skin was acting up and my hair was starting to fall out. Alexa took care of me during my appointment, and I'm so glad she did. From start to finish, she was kind, informative, and made me feel completely at ease. The session began with a follicular analysis, where they examine your scalp to tailor the treatment to your specific needs. Alexa explained everything clearly--it included a double shampoo, deep conditioning, and a relaxing steam hood treatment. It was a 60-minute session, and I nearly drifted off several times because it was just that relaxing. To top it all off, the session ended with an amazing neck massage (truly the cherry on top) and a follow-up scalp analysis to show the improvement. The entire team was friendly, welcoming, and professional. The establishment is beautiful, well decorated, and very clean. I have wanted to try a Japanese scalp treatment for a while now. I found Lola Rosa on TikTok. I booked by appointment with Mesha the same as on the video. You can tell that she enjoys her job. Mesha has such good energy, she is very peaceful. I could feel the stress melting away during my session. The service was much needed! I will let all my friends and loved ones know about my experience, and plan to come back in the future. read more

Mesha was my specialist and the experience I had was beyond anything I could have imagined. From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped in a sense of calm and peace. Mesha was very welcoming greeted me and made me feel comfortable right away. Mesha showed my hair follicles on a screen and as she begin massaging my head as I laid, the stress and tension I had been carrying for so long seemed to melt away. The care and attention given by the therapist especially to a loc girly made a wave of emotions rise up and before I knew one moment I was sleep and dreaming of nothing but happy moments and then I realized tears were beginning to form but not from sadness but from a profound relief and joy. It was as if a weight had been lifted off my shoulders and I left the spa feeling lighter, happier and more at peace. I have already recommended this experience to several friends and co-workers. Highly recommend Mesha because she expressed to me she has had locs before so she truly knows getting that deep scrub/rub means everything.
