There is a sign that displays services offered with pricing. When I arrived for my appointment the door was open but I was surprised that no one was there. I waited for about 10 minutes before I heard my masseuse. And knocked on the area she was located. She the came out and provided great service. Upon entering you will see signs to wash your hands and wear your mask. They give you a covering for your face while you're being massaged. The massage room was dim and featured small lights around the room that resembled sitting under the stars. It was delightful. When taken back into the room, my masseuse asked where I felt pressure so she could target those areas. I got undressed, laid on the cot, and she gave me an amazing hot stone massage. I decided to get a living social coupon as a father's day gift for my boyfriend. Usually I'm skeptical about companies that advertise through such agencies because some will treat you differently knowing you are a discounted shopper. That was NOT the case here. After reading the reviews on yelp, I made the purchase. I am very happy I did. My beau and I walked in and instantly I enjoyed the ambiance and the décor. At check in, we were offered tea and water. Not too shabby! I called ahead to let them know I was bringing wine, silly me forgot the wine glasses but they had them there so kudos to HGAS! We were escorted into the room which looked very hygienic and the mood was set just right, darken room, soft music and the sounds of water (I'm a Cancer so water instantly does it for me). Leah offered ice for our wine while we got undressed. Then the magic began. Leah and Mary were our therapists for the evening and they did a phenomenal job! Mary put my boyfriend to sleep, I actually felt a little sorry for her when it was time to rotate because he sleeps like a rock! She managed with ease so more power to her... I stayed awake and enjoyed every moment of it. Leah used just enough pressure to get rid of knots I wasn't even aware were there but not too much that I was in pain. I'm sure Mary did her thing on my boyfriend, when he's relaxed, he sleeps...It never fails. Afterwards, we were allowed time to sip our wine, relax and reflect. We weren't rushed out the door at any time and that was a huge plus to me. They were very friendly at the check out/check in desk, I tipped based on the original price as instructed in the living social voucher and they were very appreciative. I don't like writing bad reviews, but would like to put a warning out as this business still has a Groupon deal out there... I bought a Groupon for this salon because of the mostly awesome reviews. I called to get an appointment but no one answered the phone at either of the numbers provided for several days. The voicemail was full so I couldn't leave a message, so I decided to email the establishment (which is recommended via voicemail). To this day, a month and a half later, I have yet to get an email back. Eventually I got ahold of a lady, informed her of my purchase, and was told the next available appointment for a Saturday was the weekend before thanksgiving (a few weeks out). I bought a couples massage so upon checking with my boyfriend, this date did not work. I got caught up with midterms for a bit then decided to call back November 2nd. This time I spoke with a man who told me that they were no longer honoring the Groupon Friday-Monday, only Tuesday-Thursday, and that the first available appointment was January 14th (past the December expiration date). The last part/interaction was enough for me. I did not buy the Groupon under the conditions that I could only use it Tuesday-Thursday, and would not have as I am a full time student and work part time throughout the week. I was also not informed of this on the first phone call. I contacted Groupon and was able to cancel this purchase and get my money back, unfortunately in the form of Groupon bucks, so I'm still out $75. If you are going to purchase this deal, be sure to call ahead and get the unwritten fine print (if you can get ahold of them). First off, one therapist came in especially for us (HUGE thank you again for that!), and every step of our experience was about comfort and relaxation. The therapists spoke to us beforehand to talk through areas we'd want to focus on, and recommended incorporating hot stones as a part of the overall massage. This is a review not for the service at the spa but of the businesses and their use of the groupon deal. I purchased a groupon in July that expired before I could even get an appointment. Each time I called for an appointment the schedule was booked more than three months out. In September I finally was able to secure a December 2 appointment which was not ideal because it was during business hours but I took it. With such a long time from the appointment date and the time I made it I totally forgot about the appointment and never received any form of confirmation or reminder. I have been an advert spa user in the Washington, D.C. Area and I have always received an appointment reminder. Not here! Company never has availability and blames it on two therapist leaving. I understand a staffing issue but the company continues to mass promote the business via Groupon and LivingSocial. I have had my Groupon since July 2015 and can never get on the books. NOT because they are so busy with happy customers but because they are busy with supposedly reoccurring customers. If that is the case, more power to you, but stop promoting as if you can accommodate customers in the next 60-days (why people go on Groupon and LivingSocial). My boyfriend and I had found a Groupon for a 90 minutes couple's massage, so decided to give Heavenly Garden a try. First of all, I've done similar groupon deals before where it's a great deal, but you have to schedule your appointment weeks and weeks in advance. Not knowing if that would be the case here, I called before I had bought the groupon to see when they could fit us in. I called on Tuesday and had an appointment for that Friday. The salon is beautiful- a very nice waiting room with drinks and calming music. The room was very nice as well. The tables were comfortable and the setting calm and serene. It was my first massage, so I didn't know what to expect but I was so pleased. I had April and my boyfriend had Leah. They were professional, put you at ease and did a great job. I could feel that April was taking care to get rid of all of the knots from my back and kept working until they were gone. My boyfriend felt like his massage could have been harder. I think what set them apart from other places is how friendly the staff was. We were pleasantly greeted, made sure we had everything we needed and took time to ask about our lives, the type of work we do, etc. We had mentioned that we had just graduated and as we were leaving April goes "I just want to let you know how proud I am of you two and great job. I agree this place has gone down hill a bit since my first visit. 1.) I returned for a groupon couples massage last month... To say the least it was not relaxing. My boyfriends masseuse was entirely too talkative. She talked the entire session about her life and other irrelevant things that did not pertain to the massage. I was completely distracted. Not to mention my leg felt as if a muscle had been pulled when I left the table. I left the place limping!!!!!! Not my idea of a massage. 2.) My birthday massage I scheduled after my first massage with April was cancelled because she "left the company". Not to mention I received this information via text, the day before my appointment *disappointing* . I was told I needed to call in to reschedule. This was my second visit,the first one was in October 2015 and it was very nice, nice atmosphere, smelled of lavender in the room, soft low chime relaxing music playing that relaxed me, I had liked the massage so much it was for 60 minutes,i peeked the time when she said she was finished, i thought i was being cheated time, as most massage places do, but She finished exactly on time leaving me with 2 minutes to dress which made me happy because i did not want it to end. I can see that you continue to completely overlook what the problems are, as I have already identified on multiple occasions the lack of customer service. Even in your effort to respond in the most recent emails reflect that you have again failed at addressing the issues/concerns that I have. Anyhow; you continue to insist that I booked an appointment at 1:50 pm, which is false. I have more than once explained to you that your site reflected two therapists available at 12:30pm, and that there we no 1:50pm appointments listed on the website for that date at all. When I mentioned that the website provided false information, it should not be noted that it was indeed a fact false, as you have made mention that there are not two therapists available at 12:30pm on June 2, 2018 as initially saw, selected and requested for my husband and I. Further, you did not provide any other dates or information regarding time slot and availability for two persons wishing to receive massages at the same time. Additionally, I requested the name and phone number of the Manager of this spa so that I could speak with him/her to resolve this issue with kindness and courtesy. You did not see it fit to provide any of the information I requested in the chain of emails, only your brash remarks and unwarranted responses, and failure to recognize that I am simply a paying customer who wished to utilize this companies services - at a SPA, a place one would hope to be able to relax, enjoy and have an amazing experience. Instead, I was berated for no reason at all. Interestingly enough, while you felt the need to outline the violations of your policies, which I had nothing to do with, nor are they reflected on Groupon or on the voucher; the voucher indicates that it did not expire until July 20, 2018; however, in poor taste, your company cut that short by ending the eligibility dates in June 2018. Great customer service! I was greeted immediately upon entering the facility, offered a beverage and placed in my room within 10 minutes. The room itself was a little different than what I'm use to experiencing at a spa. Okay, so as far as an actual massage I can't rate. I will however write this review based on my experience as a potential customer. So I bought a Groupon for both my mom for solo massage and myself for a couple's massage. I scheduled her appointment for a month out because they claimed to have been really busy due to the Groupon customers. I then scheduled my couple's massage for a month and a half out due to the same reason. Of course I thought it was crazy to have appointments booked so far out but I figured it was worth the wait. I was a little annoyed to see other folks mention they were seen promptly or had no problem making an appointment after I read reviews...perhaps Groupon customer's are treated as second best *side eye* My mom had to reschedule her appointment (we chose November which is around her B-day). I kept my appointment for 9/20 which was canceled on the Friday by the business because apparently one of their masseuses quit. Trying to understand the situation I was okay with rescheduling until the receptionist told me that we would have to wait until other scheduled guests cancelled their appointments. Um... but hell no ! that doesn't work for me. So basically it was suggested I go on a pending list for an appointment that I didn't even cancel, after my BF and I waited a month and half already. The woman I spoke to was nice but this establishment needs order and I'd like to suggest that if circumstances beyond the customer's control arise i.e. folks quitting last minute, I believe the business should take that into consideration and provide realistic solutions NOT "keep your fingers crossed and hope somebody cancels their appointment " solutions. Going through my reviews, I noticed I trashed this place a long time ago, before I got to see it. I was angry that I had to wait so long to get an appointment. When Groupon wouldn't refund me I sucked it up and made the appointment for a later date, satiating our need for massages sooner at another place. When we got there the massage was good and we were impressed. I stand by my stance that if you run a company that has standing-room only (so to speak) then you don't need to peddle your business on Groupon. We tried for two months to schedule an appoint - calls and voice messages, emails, messages through their web form. We had a Groupon we were trying to use but no one would get back to us. Finally I asked Groupon for help and someone from the spa called because Groupon asked them to. Then they refused to even schedule a weekend appt because they were booked, and even though I said it was fine if it was a few months out they wouldn't do it. I've been here a few times and would definitely recommend it to someone in need of a great massage with very firm pressure (a must-have for me). Despite the great massage, I rated with three stars because, for me, a visit to the spa for a massage should be a truly relaxing experience during which I am mentally and physically transported away from the stresses and distractions of the world. There were some minor issues with scheduling--I won't go into detail because I do plan to return and don't need anyone recognizing my review and smacking me in the head with a hot stone. ;-) Besides, things worked out and everyone was pleasant about the situation, although inconvenient. That said, during the last minutes of one massage, I could tell that all of a sudden the massage was being rushed and my limbs were being moved with noticeably less care than throughout the majority of the process. I don't know if it was an issue of time or fatigue or what, but it tore me from my trance and wasn't a great way to end what had been a darned good massage. During another visit, I was taken into a room that had skylights and I was provided with a face mask to hide the light. Still, I was unable to really relax and release during the massage. Otherwise, I would give this spa a solid four stars. For me it's all about service-service-ambiance. This is a relatively new business from my understanding--once these kinks get ironed out, which I'm sure can be accomplished, this business could be stellar! read more

I, like a lot of women, am veeeeery selective about where I get my Brazilian waxes. For a long time, I went to Elizabeth Arden Red Door salin because they were the only ones.I could count on to use soft wax, which didn't hurt. But my friend recommended me to April (a former Elizabeth Arden employee), at Heavenly Garden and she was AMAZING. The ambience of the spa was very similar to Elizabeth Arden with tea and calming music in the waiting area. Although the spa just opened 2 weeks ago on April 10th, they seemed very organized. The staff was super friendly, kind, and most importantly competent. I was checked in promptly, and I paid quickly and easily at the end of the visit. Now, let me get to April. I am one of those people who, even after 10 Brazilian waxes, still shakes and giggles nervously throughout the entire process. April put me totally at ease, and reminded me to "breathe through it" when I tensed up. Also, she knows her stuff. When I told her that I didn't like the wax that you rip off with paper because it seemed like it hurt more, she explained to me that "paper wax" as I call it is better for finer hair, not coarse hair like mine. She also said that paper wax exfoliates the skin and so that's why you use it for eyebrows. Who knew?!? April, was so sweet--she even gave me a hug at the end! AND she was super flexible with her time. I ended up coming 45min after my original appointment time and she totally accommodated me... with a smile. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place for Brazilian wax virgins (and veterans too!), the atmosphere is great, the prices are affordable, and the best of all the waxing process is virtually painless. Just a note, it's in a complex of buildings that look like medical buildings (it's next to OBGYN office) so it can be kind of hard to find. They had fairy lights going down from the ceiling and a layer of sheer cloth in front of it. It was very relaxing. My masseuse did an amazing job on my shoulders. My massage therapist was Leah. She did a phenomenal job! I got a deep tissue massage that I purchased from Groupon. Leah's pressure was dead on for me. I prefer a hard massage and I didn't have to communicate to her to go harder like I often have to do with most female massage therapists. She was also very knowledgeable on the stress/tense points of my body. I also liked the fact that I got a full 60 minute massage (I saw the start and end time).
