Loving how open our yard is now! We had 2 trees removed, 3 stumps ground out, and a couple trees cleaned up of the deadwood. Layne and his crew did an AMAZING job! They were on time, attentive to our needs and wants, and left the area looking amazing. Even left us some of the wood for firewood. Had 4 quotes and he was the lowest priced, but also had the most amazing customer service. Dealt with different contractors in the past who also gave great quotes and they did terrible jobs. He was knowledgeable about different types of trees, ours being 40 yr old Maples. He new about how sick they were and also how the 2 remaining trees were healthy and just needed some of the dead taken out. I had Majestic come back out for the 2nd time since I had such a good experience previously. I had a giant elm with huge branches overhanging a studio I have out back as well as power line intersecting the whole backyard. I was extremely concerned the elm branches would break and crush the studio and/or take out the power line. I had Layne come out and take a look and he was not concerned or intimidated by it. He listened carefully to what I requested and scoped it out accordingly. He sent me a helpful reminder the day before they came out. I decided to work from home that day because to me it looked very challenging to remove the branches and not hit something. I was completely amazed at how precise they could be. They took the tree out in small sections and lowered them carefully avoiding everything with ease. Layne was a master in the tree and the guys on the ground were all working together to make easy work of something I thought looked impossible. The clean-up afterward was icing on the cake. These guys are fast, efficient and leave the yard better than they found it. Layne is wonderful to work with, and he's pruned a tree and removed a tree for us. He dropped the tree (which was quite tall) clear of the house. Layne is there when he says he will be and that's a rarity in this day and age. They were reasonable and friendly. They were on time for the estimate and wore a mask and explained in detail what he would be doing. He emailed the estimate detail, we accepted and made an appointment. I had an appointment for Layne to come prune a couple of trees for me, our scheduled appt. was for March 2, 22, he confirmed a couple days prior to arriving that he would be here a at the time and date we had agreed upon. He was prompt and told me what his plan was and that it would take him and partner a couple of hours to complete, they finished the job, cleaned up after themselves and were on their way. Layne is terrific! He came out to inspect my tree within a few days of my contacting him (mature maple, est 40 feet high) and was incredibly knowledgeable. He identified the issue right away (root rot - the tree was too diseased to be saved) and gave me a very reasonable quote. We scheduled the removal and let me tell you - beautiful clean up job. We called two two different tree services to come look at our tree to have it trimmed. One guy never returned our call in a timely manner. One guy gave us a estimate and told us they would be there the next day. The next day they never showed and never called. They finally gave us a time they would show up a week later and once again never called or showed up. We called Lane and he came out that evening and gave us an estimate and trimmed our tree the next day. Professional, timely and easy to work with.
