My appointment had already been rescheduled from 10:00 to 11:15, and then she was still late coming in. I had driven an hour for this eyebrow appointment after 6 months of completing five sessions of laser removal and $500 later. While mapping my eyebrows, she stopped to talk to a technician next to me about a biblical/scripture story for at least eight minutes. I felt that discussing religion in a professional setting--especially when the client is essentially stuck in the chair--was inappropriate, and quite frankly, I just didn't want to hear it. I politely told her it was making me uncomfortable and anxious, and that I wanted to focus on finishing my brows. Instead of acknowledging my request, she told me she could not continue because SHE felt anxious, and then refused to do my brows, saying she would refund my money. This was especially frustrating because I had already been told she was moving and only available once a month, which made getting this appointment completed all the more important. I feel her actions were unprofessional and inconsiderate toward a client who had invested significant time, money, effort, and travel. A simple "I'm sorry, no problem" would have gone a long way in resolving the situation. For context, as soon as my friend heard Amanda was moving, she scheduled with someone else--and in hindsight, I wish I had done the same. My tattoo was small and had some light color (pink & orange). Tina was great and went over everything with me about the procedure before she started. She offered numbing cream but it wasn't needed because my tattoo was so small and treatments took less than a minute. Did it hurt? Yes! Was it worth it? Absolutely! I'd do it again in a heartbeat. It did take several treatments over about a year and a half time span. Best advice I can give is to be patient. Laser tattoo removal takes time and the more color you have/the bigger your tattoo, the longer it may take. Colored tattoos are stubborn and take longer to fade. My finger looks great. You can't even tell I had a tattoo there anymore. I definitely recommend Body Beautiful for laser tattoo removal and would go back if I had others I wanted to remove.
