I'm very pleased with choosing Invisible Ink. I started my treatment at the Body Beautiful Med Spa, which was a huge mistake. The first place I went to didn't specialize in anything and offered 100's of services. I was given incorrect information on what laser was being used (they use the oldest Q-switch laser, but told me it was PicoSure at the first visit and after I called to verify) and offer an injection numbing option that didn't numb the first time. They were very disorganized, but mostly lying to me about what laser was being used is the ultimate disgrace for a tattoo removal business. At invisible ink, the office is clean and beautiful. The ladies have all been nice and most importantly are experts in the field of tattoo removal since this is all they do. The numbing cream and the cooling machine help. It's painful, but I can say from experience that it's no where near as painful as the Q switch. I have what I would consider a medium sized tattoo that takes 3 minutes at the most. I've completed two sessions with them and both times there is little to no pain after. The cost was comparable to Body Beautiful Medi Spa except Invisible ink uses the the most updated laser PicoWay when Body Beautiful uses Q-switch, but on their site claim that they use PicoSure (they have this at some locations so beware. I even asked to make sure I was getting Picosure and they lied to me and then claimed the technician that told me the truth didn't know because she only works there once a month!! They did admitted it was Q-switch though.). If you're going to a place that are claiming they can remove the tattoo is less than 8 to 10 treatments than you're going to be disappointed when it does indeed take you at least 10 treatments. No where is using a laser that is more advanced than what invisible ink is using and it takes 10 treatments with 8 weeks in between. You just need to accept that it's a slow process. I feel confident that a invisible Ink is the best place to go and I'm grateful the pain in fairly minimal. I do not dread appointments! My tattoo is really disappearing too! read more

I was very wary about this procedure knowing of the previous method used for tattoo removal (Invisible Ink uses the PicoWay which is used in clinical settings to improve dermatologic imperfections such as acne scars, dark spots and wrinkles). Upon arriving Invisible Ink's knowledgeable staff answered all of my questions without making me feel as if I should have known more prior to presenting for consultation. Since I am not a native to the Pittsburgh area they offered me an appointment THAT DAY saving me another travel day. The entire procedure took about 1 minute, pain was minuscule and at worst felt like I was having another tattoo. I compare the pain more to being shocked by someone with static. Following the procedure, you are provided with a foolproof aftercare manual to help you achieve the best results possible including a goody bag supplying you with the appropriate skin wash, tape/bandages, topical ointments for the day after, the healing process, and in case infection would arise, as well as numbing ointment to apply prior to the next visit. The aftercare manual lists time frames and what to expect during these times as well as instructions if itchiness, pain, or other skin related irritations would occur. I have had no complications and have already noticed some results with only one session. I have 3 friends interested in the procedure as well after learning of my experience and its simplicity! A small side story... When I was younger my parents were very much against tattoos, so for my 18th birthday my sister and I got matching white tattoos. I later went through a rebellious phase in which I had the tattoo gone over in black. Prior to, and especially with my sister's recent passing, I decided I want my black tattoo removed and back to its original white version. I know it sounds silly, but my white tattoo meant so much to me - a sister secret. Moral of my story here, this staff was so kind. They did not probe for reasoning behind why I chose removal nor did they push me into choosing removal. Such a pleasant and painless experience. read more

First off, if you are looking to get your tattoo removed in the Pittsburgh area, GO HERE! I was going to another location in the Penn Hills area, which was very dirty and not sanitary.. When you first come for a consult, they sit down with you and take photos. They have an analyzer on the iPad that shows how many appointments you would need to remove it, and compares their machine to other laser machines. The machine they use is the newest technology. After this, they tell you a price, and the packages which is a great deal. To be honest, it is expensive, but you have to remember you are paying for a great quality machine, professional licensed staff, amongst other things included. The nice thing about their packages is as followed: Say they analyzed you needed 10 sessions. You pay for the 10 sessions. If for some reason it is LESS than 10, you get the remainder of the money back from the sessions you would've had left. If you need MORE than 10 sessions, you DO NOT pay anything more than what you paid for 10 treatments. I don't know any other places that do this! The staff is all women, and all beyond generous and kind. They don't rush your treatment, and ice you/give you breaks as you need! The areas they treat you in is comparable to a doctors office; a big room, with a big reclining bed type of furniture, goggles, sanitizing supplies, your after care treatment and most importantly SPOTLESS! I have never been in a more cleaner environment. After your treatment, they apply the aftercare lotion and wrap you up. Also, when they do the sessions, they have an ice machine that blows cold air onto you while they use the laser. This helps take away from the pain as well! They do numb you and ice you prior to the session. I can't say it isn't painful, it is. However, with the numbing cream, ice and air machine they use, it really helps minimize some of the pain. Also, it ONLY hurts while they laser you. Once they finish you are just swollen and red, and a little hot to touch on the spot. Aside from that, their is NO pain! read more

This place is amazingly professional and nice! I submitted an online request and was called the very next day. (I submitted on a Sunday.) They were helpful and answered any questions I had while I was on the phone. I went in today for my consultation and first appointment and the consultation takes longer than the removal itself! (Which I appreciated!) I sat down and was asked to fill out some information about myself and was offered a water.. which after the 40 minute drive to get there, I was grateful for! Once I was done with the questionnaire I was taken into a private consultation room where I was told about the process and how it works. I was then given different pricing options which helped a lot. I won't lie to you and say that it's cheap- but I'll pay what I have to for better service! Like my technician said, in a world where anyone can own a laser, it's best to go somewhere certified and licensed. I had my first session without the numbing cream and it really did not hurt all that bad. Took mere moments of my time to have it done. Even the areas that hurt a little extra, it was over so fast that I could tolerate it. Overall I am excited to see the process unfold and watch these tattoos fade away over time. If you want a tattoo removed this is the place to go. No question. They have been treating me for almost 2 years and my tattoos are almost completely gone. I purchased a package that included a guarantee, which they have honored no questions asked as it took more treatments due to scaring from different tattoo removal laser. The staff (Margot and Liz) are great, very friendly and professional. This is the second place I have been to for tattoo removal, the first was somewhere else (they only did tattoo removal as a secondary service) offering a groupon discount. Frankly they did more damage then removing ink. Picosure or Picoway are vastly superior to the other lasers on the market (Invisible Ink uses both of these). If you are serious about getting your tattoos removed this is the place to go. Without a doubt the best in the Pittsburgh area. I drive about 45 minutes to get there for each treatment! Do your research on the type of laser and you will see the Picoway/Picosure is the way to go. The other laser (some type of Q-switch) left scaring and really did not remove much ink. Invisible Ink of Robinson is an amazing and excellent Tattoo Removal Spa. I am always amazed at the quality of their service. Their aestheticians (shout out to Liz and Meghan and the whole staff) are amazingly professional and knowledgeable. They are patient and accommodating with their customers scheduling needs and always take time to answer questions. Their facility is clean and modern. I am so pleased with the progress of my tattoo removal. I got the package for tattoo removal and I am so happy that I did this! The tattoos are fading and I am happy with the result! Soon they will be completely faded and I will be tattoo free! Having gone to several tattoo removal establishments, I have found Invisible Ink to be the best. The cleanliness of their office, the courtesy of their staff and attention to detail regarding the removal process is always professional. I have been to both doctor's offices and tattoo parlors for removal and while the former is always higher cost while the latter being an unreliable experience, Invisible Ink delivers in both a clinical experience and competitive market pricing. I recommend the package guarantee since it gives one the peace of mind of total removal and available discounts at the time of purchase. I also feel their treatment plans are sensible in that they do not insist you come every month which really does not improve the removal time. The body metabolizes the ink and the body can only do so much in a given time. I went to invisible ink to because when I was young I had received a very unskilled tattoo on my foot . I had I for years and it always made me feel self conscious. After reviewing multiple tattoo removal venues in the Pittsburgh area , I decided to go with Invisible Ink at their Church Hill location. Upon arrival at the shop for my appointment I was greeted by the technition who would be doing my removal process. His name was Wes and he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the removal process. After he explained the process I was led back to a private and very sterile booth. Wes applied a ice pack to my foot and then began the removal process.After thirty seconds the session was over and I was free to go. I contacted Invisible Ink tattoo removers because I've had a small tattoo that I've been trying to remove for years. I am very happy not only with the results but also with how friendly and professional the staff have been with me. I had many concerns: Would this process work the way it's described? I couldn't be more happy with the way my removal is going. As a 19 year old getting a tattoo removed was kinda a big deal. I have a huge forearm piece and I wanted to be sure that I could have a bright future and most people looked down on me because of my big forearm piece I just wasn't happy and because of invisible ink I can finally look at my arm and smile again. Not to mention the office was gorgeous, had my consultation and the very same day I was able to get my first treatment, when I looked after it was done it was drastically different. I came to invisible ink already having two sessions with another tattoo remover. The difference after one session with invisible ink almost made me weep tears of joy. In one session the blue from my mistake was practically gone and I could noticeably see that lines had faded. The care that I received was amazing. They are great people who care as much about removal of my tattoo as I did , and they guaranteed it would be gone....There was a man walking out as I walked in, and I asked how was it and he said "it hurts". I have read reviews saying its worse than a tattoo but in my experience it was not worse . After numbing cream for an hour and ice pack for 5 minutes , I was ready for treatment, the technician was personal and informative and it took 5 minutes to remove , she asked if I was doing ok about every minute which was nice . They are fantastic! I have had laser tattoo treatments at another business before, and I really wish I would have just gone to invisible ink first. When I had been treated in the past I immediately had blood blisters afterwards. I had my first treatment today at invisible ink and no blood blisters. During the process the laser they use blasts cold air and it really cuts the pain factor down. They also supply numbing creams and send you home with a whole care kit with specific instructions.
