He was very communicative--even with the 13 hour time difference, I was able to coordinate with him easily. I had my husband be taken out of the house three hours before the party to set up... the balloon arch was delivered right on time. The photographer showed up half an hour earlier than the party. The magician I wanted to hire was booked somewhere else and I only found out a few days before, but the balloon sculpture artist Mark recommended instead was an absolute hit with the kids as well as the adults, which was a pleasant surprise. He made my husband the most outrageous birthday hat. Right when he was supposed to be done, one of the kids tripped and popped his balloons and got upset, and he stayed longer to make him (and a few other stragglers) more balloons. Truly kind. The photographer David was also really so helpful, friendly, and on it! He came early and helped with some of the set up... he was attentive and also very nice to talk to. Very natural (sometimes it's awkward when a photographer's in your face taking pictures but it wasn't awkward at all). We got a USB full of pictures right after the party! We initially found them through a list of preferred vendors provided by our venue, and after our first call with Rich we knew they'd be able to help make our day perfect! The team as a whole is so friendly and responsive, and was always willing to get on a call to discuss any questions we had!Nick worked with us for our live musicians, and helped make the planning process so easy. We had a few songs to transition through for our ceremony and he organized everything perfectly, even when we weren't sure if our specific songs could be accommodated, to give us the perfect medley of music. Carlos from start to finish was the perfect DJ for us. He gave us his personal number to talk to him about specific songs and vibes for the reception, and went above and beyond to deliver and give us the emo, punk rock night of our dreams. Everyone was on their feet dancing the entire night, and when there was the occasional short lull, Carlos knew exactly what to do to get everyone up and dancing again! I used this DJ for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah as an addition to a live band. The owner of the…read morebusiness, Bill Boettcher, told me less than 48 hours before my event that he would be sending a substitute when all along I was told it would be he at my event. All during the time before my event he was extremely difficult to reach but I let it go because my primary music was to be through the live band, who was fantastic. But there were reasons I also wanted a DJ and my reasons turned out to be valid. The DJ Bill ultimately sent was ok. the music was fine and really there was nothing in particular I needed to have the DJ do or to discuss with him so no complaints. But the motivator, as sweet as could be, did not seem to know her job. I had to tell her when to give out items and if I hadn't told her we would still be waiting. Only during the last hour did she do any kind of interaction with the kids. There were no games as I had been told there would be and items that were specifically ordered for my event, I never saw. All of this didn't leave me thrilled, but the worst was that I wrote to Bill after the event and let him know I just wanted to talk to him. I wasn't going to make too big a deal of it but I thought maybe the motivator was new and simply needed some guidance. I didn't hear back for a week and when I wrote again, I received a rather rude response admonishing me for not being more patient. He didn't like some of what I wrote in my second e-mail (which did indicate I was upset he hadn't responded yet)and indicated that was the only reason he was responding despite being so busy. Had he only written originally and asked me to wait until things quieted down I wouldn't be writing this. But he stated right out that he only responded to me because something upset him. Yet he didn't feel it important enough to answer me when I was upset, didn't feel it important enough to make sure things had gone well, and overall didn't think it important enough to provide good customer service. I don't know if things would have been better with a different motivator and if the owner had done my event, as originally planned. But he (Bill, the owner) is extremely difficult to reach when things are going well, and pretty much not at all unless he feels it is important. I would not use this company again.

Do NOT book this DJ for your wedding. Our wedding reception--one of the most important days of our…read morelives--was completely RUINED due to Vito and especially Giuseppe's UNPROFESSIONALISM and DISMISSIVE behavior. They clearly LACK OF SKILL and EXPERIENCE required to host a mixed-culture wedding or any event that requires crowd awareness and musical versatility. Despite providing a detailed playlist, only a small handful of our requested songs were actually played, and many tracks were thrown in at RANDOM with NO regard for the flow of the evening. Their music library was extremely BASIC, with NO remixes or creative transitions. Music transitions were POORLY executed throughout the night. For example, during the robot performance, the DJ abruptly cut from "Technologic" straight into a Nicki Minaj & Beyoncé track and Usher--none of which were remixes or remotely suitable for the moment. This completely DISRUPTIVE the performance we had planned. Overall, the music selection felt random, OUT OF PLACE, and DISCONNECTED from the crowd's energy. On top of that, there was a lack of transparency regarding payments. DJ Vito failed to acknowledge additional funds we had sent, which led to Giuseppe making incorrect and misleading claims. When we expressed our concerns, Giuseppe responded with multiple exclamation marks, displaying further UNPROFESSIONALISM and a CONFRONTATIONAL attitude. Working with Vito and Giuseppe was an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience, and it cast a negative shadow over what should have been a joyful celebration. I cannot recommend their services based on what we went through.
