On a visit to Central Park in November 2009, my boyfriend and I wanted to ride in a hansom cab so we could rest our feet a while and see the park. Brent approached us a few times and we indicated that we were looking at the hansom cabs. The third time he gave a great spiel about why his tour is better and how he will give us a longer tour of more of the park. It sounded good so I said ok and we started the 30 min tour. The hansom cabs had signs on the side saying $35/half hour, so I figured the rate would be comparable. About five minutes later, Brent said he wanted us to know his rate was $80/half hour. Gulp. Lesson learned for not asking prior to getting in. I know I was really taken advantage of on the rate for this reason. What was even worse is that we only were in the pedicab for about 10 minutes. Brent's tour is really a walking tour of one small area of the park. I paid $80 for something that we could have done for free in the same amount of time. I can still imagine Brent laughing at the naive tourists that he is taking advantage of. I am posting this in hopes that someone reading it will be able to avoid having the same experience.

Mindy was as excited for us to arrive in Tahiti for our honeymoon as we were and we felt like she was a part of our journey there. We received a beautiful bottle of champagne upon our arrival with a note from her which truly made it even more special. I'm not one to ever write reviews but Mindy deserves every word of it.
