MY CONCERNS; Was this a scam since I could not reach the business for three days trying many times? I paid for the reservation in advance by credit card and was not looking forward to contacting my bank card service to dispute the charges and explain why! S.I. Express Car Service is NOT a fly by night business scam! Whew to that! I was sooo relieved and very pleased with how Chris explained everything and was able to update my return pick up time, and why I was trying to reach someone. Most importantly, he contacted me once he understood the phone systems were malfunctioning, and ascertained my reservation and updated the return pickup time change. Now my husband and I can put our minds at ease we and 4 guests can travel from Staten Island to Brooklyn and back, to attend our son's wedding. A reserved SUV FOR 6, a very fair price and a contact with Chris who was so helpful and mainly an excellent human being. Thank you Chris you are an asset to S.I. Express Car Service. Chris mentioned that you can use the phone number on the website to text the business, the texting mode is working, but the talk to phone is not, it just has a recording that states "the voice mail has not been set up please call later." Our driver Daniel was a real professional driver and he arrived early for the pick up and was waiting outside the restaurant and the Garden when we were ready to be picked up. The vehicle we had selected was a slightly oversized brand new 2022 Cadillac Escalade with all the options. Riding in it in Manhattan was nice; being able to view the tall buildings through the double moonroof was a treat for me because I usually do all the driving and don't get to do much sightseeing. Daniel knew exactly where the particular VIP entrance was, that our hockey tickets instructed us to use, saving us a lot of walking. He kept me informed where the car was located and when we came out of the game it was super easy to find him. (Anyone that has been to a game in NYC knows how hectic it could be outside the Garden.) We haven't used a limousine service, as a treat, other than our wedding in 1981. This experience made me feel very special and was the perfect ending to a most perfect St. Valentines Day!! When we decide to do this again we will happily use Personal Touch and request Daniel to be our driver! I highly recommend Personal Touch Limousines and our driver, Daniel! With Viking, who apparently pays a commission after the cruise, they have sent us a check for $1500 after the cruise. To be fair, one of their agents was not very good and didn't return calls , etc. --- but we started using another agent and she has been great. We have scheduled 8 cruises through them. There is an annual fee of $250 but again, if you travel just once a year, you come out ahead.
