The therapists here are such experts that they can somehow do a waxing more gently but just as efficiently so that you don't look like you have been in some sort of fisticuffs brawl during your lunch break! I also had the file and paint done on my finger nails before a big night out. There is a huge range of colours and I managed to get almost a week out of the polish which is longer than usual and a good price at £11. A little bit of indulgence for just over a tenner works for me. Another plus is that you can choose the treatment you want and book and appointment on line and the girls will do their very best to give you that time slot. I also have to confess that a have just started using the 'Boob Tube'!!! It's not some kind of top but a cream which promises to keep me heading north. I live in hope.

Having trained with Una Bowman, Joanne is very skilled at makeup application, and always knows the right colour palette and style to use on her clients, relevant to their age, outfit and personality. I've hired her a couple of times, for a wedding I was going to and a formal also, and she was always punctual and flexible, allowing plenty of time to get the job done, and to allow for any last minute changes. She really makes you feel pampered and she is very personable, which is of course really important when you work in the beauty business. I would highly recommend her for any special event and I will be booking in with her again soon when I celebrate my wedding anniversary.

I know, very vain - but I was dressing up as a Greek Goddess and without the tan I would have looked like a Banshee - you get the idea. I requested the all over spray tan, so there it was - me, a beauty therapist, a spray canister with an air pump system and me in the total nip (apart from my knick-knacks) getting sprayed with freezing cold tanning solution in all sorts of places! But, those in the know, are aware that beauty is pain, and we all go through trials like this to be beautiful. I have to say, they did a good job - of course it got darker overnight and I looked vaguely like a coalminer until I had my first shower - but the tan was even and a natural colour. I would go back again.
