What are you supposed to do with three dogs on a Sunday morning in LA when the weather is nice?…read moreWell, even though I just summed up almost every morning live here, the correct answer is take said dogs somewhere for some exercise and a nice walk. I've never heard of TreePeople and rarely want to venture into Beverly Hills but my wife was pretty stoked on checking this place out so that's exactly what we did. We showed up around 8:00AM and were lucky enough to snag a parking spot in the lot. The lot itself was pretty packed and clearly many other people had the same exact idea that we did. Once all three dogs were ready to go we enjoyed about 45 minutes of walking before the senior dogs needed to return and pass out in the back seat., fun I know. This area is super nice and has a bunch of different places to sit down on benches and get some amazing views of the city I call home. I'm not sure what the group was, but there was a big group of people being followed by a truck so at one point we had to jump on some stairs and get out of the way, not sure what was going on. The part we did was pretty much the entrance up a few small hills and over to a second bench area, but I'm definitely trying to come back here to hike the mountain at some point. Overall, this place was beautiful and definitely somewhere worth checking out if in the city. The trails I saw were clean and the place is clearly taken care of. I'll absolutely be back soon to hike the trails a bit more without my old dogs and I very much look forward to it.

We have been to this location a handle full of times and the experience just keeps getting WORSE!!!…read moreNOW, NEVER GOING BACK and WE ARE DONE!!!! First off, this is so strangely restricted and unsafe the way that they chain off the lot and block parking, as if to make it as difficult as possible to delivery a donation. Secondly, the elderly man that I have encountered there, several times, should NOT be dealing with the pubic. He is always rude and unkind & usually we just ignore his bad attitude, but today was the TOPPER!! I arrived to deliver two big boxes of donations and the elderly man was beyond repugnant!!! At one point, he is yelling something at me with his mask on and has he has my second box in his arms and I can not understand him. I say "Sir, I am so sorry I do not understand you" to which he slams my box of donations on the ground and then screams "no pet hair" and I still have no idea what he is talking about. And then he barks "I am allergic!!!" OK I get allergies but sir, you are dealing with the general public and I am sure a lot of people have dogs and cats. He then pulls out a nice jacket from my box and discards it towards me. I was so baffled....it is a perfect fine clothing item with no pet hair on it. There was hair on the jacket and it was MINE!!!! I have donated a lot in my history but never encountered such a disgusting and grotesquely foul man before at any donation center!! This poor old man really needs to stop deaingl with general public!!! Unacceptable!!!! Our entire family has made donations here and we will no longer do so!! This location should be called BADWILL!!!!

Was on wait list for an intern for five months. After a few months and an initial, very specific,…read morevery retraumatizing intake with an intern, analyst texted saying she could not move forward with therapy, no explanation. Was sent to the back of the line to wait again. Second intern seemed uncomfortable and awkward in our sessions, and did not take responsibility for and took weeks to set me up on their portal - meanwhile our GoogleMeets were not HIIPA complaint and I could not pay for weeks of sessions on a secure payment site. This intern was a "seasoned" therapist (as per the director) but seemed to not have a sense of sophistication with regard to Jungian concepts and I had to explain things to her, so I was paying to teach her. She also yawned during our sessions without covering her mouth, and once cut off our session without care during a very vulnerable moment for me, seemingly having lost track of time, needing to rush off to her next client. The director, Lynn Easley, took no responsibility or accountability for the way i had been treated over the five months or the way this had managed, and proceeded to suggest that the problems were mine, in a gaslighting kind of way, with zero consciousness of her lack of reflection or care. Shockingly unprofessional, lacking in empathy, lacking in customer service, lacking in accountability, lacking in promptness. Indeed, the problem is mine and it is with this organization. I had wonderful and generous responses from the Jungian center in San Francisco and through referrals I was matched with a gifted therapist within three business days of reaching out to them. AVOID THIS CENTER. Terrible experience.

Obviously targeted at Jungian analysts (which I am not), the speakers are learned, accomplished and doubtless engrossed with the subject matter. They're intellectually oriented, almost dry and could use a bit of zeal to make it more entertaining. Also the $40 admission is a bit steep for lay people that are not writing off the fee on their taxes as research/education. I've left the lectures feeling that I would have rather spent the money in the bookstore instead. There isn't anything elitist about this place, just maybe needs a B-12 injection? Recommended parking is across the street in the lot for the golf course and park, save yourself some frustration.

What immediately stood out is how well the cats are treated -- they have full freedom to roam, plenty of toys to keep them entertained, and they're well fed and cared for. You can tell this place genuinely prioritizes making it a warm, comfortable space for the cats while they wait for their forever home. It's not a shelter -- it feels like a home. The staff made the whole adoption experience seamless. Jude especially was incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable -- exactly the kind of person you want guiding you through the process. The rest of the team matched that same energy, and it made everything feel easy and stress-free from start to finish. My girlfriend and I couldn't be happier -- we found our girl Pinky, and she's already stolen our hearts. 10 out of 10, would recommend this café to anyone thinking about adopting. Don't hesitate, just go.

That should be enough. But if it's not, the adult cats were super friendly and adorable. You are allowed to pick up and hold the cats. Not sure the $20 upgrade for kitty treats is worth the price (it's a tiny ketchup-container sized portion of freeze dried chicken, maybe 7 pieces). But the cost of admission was 1000% worth it. Super friendly staff. Very clean. Plenty of space. Well structured and organized. I could live here. If only I could afford to buy 24/7 access.
