I brought my flash drive but should have brought my laptop so I could pick the 30 or so pictures he knew would fit on his largest size poster board. Well, he worked with my flash drive, and let me choose the pictures. Do you think a large, corporate outfit would have allowed that? The poster looked amazing and it was done later that evening and ready for pickup the next morning. Tushar is a true gentleman, hospitable, patient, and truly kind. The core issue: a pixelated/grainy logo that was flagged on the first proof by my Mike from sales. We went through 4 rounds of proofs and it was never fixed. Instead of solving the problem, their team sent incorrect templates, made repeated errors that required me to do their QC for them, and then tried to gaslight me by claiming graininess is normal for digital printing and sending me a photo of an Apple box as "proof." Their own sample boxes did not have this issue. When I pushed back professionally and firmly after weeks of delays and non-answers, GSB's owner Stephan Steiner texted me to say they were "pausing service" due to me being "aggressive." I was not aggressive -- I was a client who expected delivery of what was paid for. I am now disputing the 50% deposit charge with my credit card company and starting over with a new vendor -- weeks past my original pitch timeline. Zero accountability. Zero quality control. Happy to take your money, unwilling to do the work correctly. Do not use GSB Digital.

Fruits is a Japanese fashion magazine that covers Japanese fashions in the Harajuku district in Japan. If you are in the school of thought that Lady Gaga is and has ever been the icon of outrageous fashion then this fashion movement is indeed worth considering first. This fashion movement runs parallel and has some similarities to the New York Club Kids who were beacons of outrageous fashion in the late 80's and early 90's. Much of the adventurous clothing wearers here blend in Western fashion with fashion of the Far East. Phaidon Press has releases two books documenting this fashion movement from author Shoichi Aoki. Fruits(2001) is the first book which is then followed by Fresh Fruits(2005). The author expressed concern in his first picture book that the movement was fading to the wheels of casual fashion. However after doing further research it appears that the magazine is still going strong and that there are enough softline adventurers in the Harajuku district that are willing to get their picture taken. I can't wait to visit Japan now! I highly recommend these books to those who like to take risks with their fashion yet always open new ideas!
