The gal that helped me asked if i knew what kind of chain it was and of course I didn't. She sighed and looked at it to see what I needed to buy. I asked her a few more questions and I just got very rude responses back. I finally just said "I'm not arguing with you at all, I just was asking a question". She proceeds to be extremely rude. She finally said the chain you want isn't in stock and it wont be in for at least two weeks. I asked if she wanted my name and number so she could call when it came in. She didn't say anything to answer my question. She just repeated herself "it should be in in maybe two weeks. I just said...ok...thanks and started to leave. As I was walking away I could hear the gal that "helped" me and the three other sales clerks snickering and talking. I just continued to walk and all I could do was shake my head in disgust. I left the store and went strait across the way to Riddles Jewelry where I had excellent costumer service. I would NOT recommend anyone to Zale's in the mall in Watertown, SD.

I left Zale's due to the extremely poor costumer service I received. I went to Riddle's Jewelry which is happens to be directly across from Zale's. Riddle's Jewelry costumer service was excellent. They greeted me and asked what they could help with. I explained I was needed a replacement chain for my necklace. She gave me pricing options and different types of replacement chain options. Extremely helpful! I purchased my replacement chain and was given a free cleaning on my necklace pendent. I would recommend Riddle's Jewelry. Keep up the good work Riddle's Jewelry! After tonight, I will not be returning. I was asked to leave because my two year old was having an emotional meltdown. Only 24 months old, he was crying because I wouldn't let him play with a toy that he could break. I moved him and my other children to the back of the store to minimize disruption while the baby cried. Two year old meltdowns rarely last long, and I THOUGHT the classic toddler tantrum was a universal childhood experience. He was not causing problems; Rather, he was sitting next to the cart crying, and my preschoolers were behaving flawlessly. An employee came back and asked me to "control" my child, and accused us of "disrupting the other customers". As a mom of five, I've been shopping with children for many years and I've never been so humiliated. I've gathered a lot of compliments (at stores and also restaurants) for my well behaved kids, but I've never before been shamed and humiliated. I hope it was just a case of a "bad apple" employee and not the value system of the store's management.

Too bad I only had an hour here before they closed because I felt I needed at least two. Terry Redlin's work is spectacular. You can see and feel the heart and soul in each and every one of his paintings. And his talent is incredible, truly unmatched. I especially enjoyed his America The Beautiful series and His First series. And I have to note that the ladies working here are so sweet and such a delight. They were all helpful and just absolute dolls. Make sure to buy something from the gift shop or one of his pieces as this is how they stay in business.

As we entered we were warmly greeted by the female director who explained everything the Museum has to offer including 3 separate galleries, 160 original oil paintings & 3 gift shops. There is no admission fee & you can likely spend 1 - 1.5 hours looking & browsing. We were amazed at all of his beautiful paintings & reading about his journey through life not to mention the many, many awards he had received over decades of his work. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our time here & we both became big fans of Terry Redlin the artist & Terry Redlin the man.
