Not only was I not even greeted or acknowledged their prices were ridiculously high considering the neighborhood. (Although it's on the way to Chestnut Hill, it's still G-town!) So I have been going here for a year , I first just walked into this place because it's in my…read moreneighborhood, When I walked in I was automatically told they don't take walk ins which is what is says on yelp but anyway I made a appointment and since then I have been going for a complete year, I've never gotten my nails done this much in my life and I'm happy I found a place to start , It's beautiful inside , Quiet and clean , No kids or other people hanging around during your appointment . I first started off with a young Spanish girl who later Ant off to school so I got handed over to Melissa which I later realized isn't the owner, She was amazing and fast !! So why so I give them 1 star ? Despite all the greatness I get from this place Melissa is very unprofessional , My first unpro cession experience with her was her tone which I ignore mostly because I don't care I just want my nails done , We later got a better relationship , She Wild sometimes show up a few minutes late and sometimes i would even show up on time and there is someone in the chair , honestly no longer than 5 -15 mins so i never cared , I even got my sister to go to her which she would also run late for her as well , Not often tho The end of the line for me was this most recent I canceled 1 hour and a half before my appt time due to an emergency , I immediately got a rude text and several after of her saying I should have let her kno yesterday (how if it's an emergency) ... that I must've went somewhere else .. etc , just a bunch of unprofessional texts as if she was my man , I kindly let her kno that I have never canceled on been late and how much I actually like going there and how I will never go back because of this conversation, I felt so uncomfortable and attacked by her it was ridiculous, I also ended by letting her kno that she needs to have more respect for her clients that have been nothing but good to her Ps : House of nails is not her salon so she may go else where but non the less she is a great artist just very unprofessional and irrational
