I called to check if i can come in for a haircut and was told yes. I came in right away. Upon entering, I was welcomed, she asked if she can wash my hair i said yes. I went to my chair after, showed her a picture of what i want, asked me if i want bangs, confirmed if she can do curtain bangs, she said yes. She cut my hair with less than 10 snips, then focused on the bangs. After she cut the bangs, she blowdried it for a long time trying to style it, when it dried i checked it was so ugly. I didnt mind at this point it's already done, it will grow anyways. Then she told me im done when my hair is still wet, i asked her if she can blow dry ill pay extra, she told me haircut and shampoo is 30, blow dry is extra, but didnt disclose how much extra. She dried my hair and the outcome is way different from the picture i showed. I wanted to ask if she can layer it more but i hesitated and thought that i can just do it myself at home. I was already unhappy at this point. When i came to pay, she was charging me $78.00? Mind you this is not a high end salon, this is a regular salon in the corner, who would believe a hair cut cost 78?? She said it's the blowdry part that's expensive, if she had told me that in the beginning i wouldve left with wet hair. I still gave her a $10.00 tip, so i spent $88 dollars today for a haircut that made me mad. We come to places like these to relax and gain confidence, if we leave feeling mad and disappointed, i dont know what else to say. Again it's my fault for making a bad decision. So for those who want to get a haircut, especially if you are a busy mom like me who has no spare time, do your research and make an appointment to your favorite and trusted salon. You'll save time and money and be actually satisfied.

I highly recommend Ivett to do your hairstyle and makeup. Not only her prices are competitive, her professionalism and artistic approach are amazing. Her attitude is super friendly and courteous. She was able to replicate in minute detail an inspiration pic I sent her of a very complex and detailed hairstyle. I noticed that she even didn't accept any water or snacks until the end since she was 100% involved in her work. She is able to do what she does because of the passion she puts into her work, and she doesn't rush the process. She takes her time with your hair and your face. Ivett was amazing!!! She did my makeup and hair for my son's wedding. I found her on the internet about two weeks before the wedding and was somewhat nervous because I did not have any personal references and had never seen her work. However, since my family came from out of town last minute and my mother-in-law is not very mobile I needed someone to come to our house. She is very talented and detail-oriented. Ivett along with her assistant came to my house the day of the Wedding and did make-up and hair for my niece 32, my sister-in-law 56, my mother-in-law 82 and myself. We all looked the best we have ever looked and were very happy. She is very professional and efficient and her prices very reasonable. I would highly recommend Ivett. read more
