Melissa was able to give me the simple, clean look I was going for and the airbrush lasted all day since we had it done that morning for our evening wedding. Melissa was also able to do a more intricate make up for my sis. She was very flexible and able to give my grandma a flawless look Likewise, Elsa was able to do 2 updos, waves for me, and my grandma's hair. My hair made it through a choreographed first dance that involved multiple spins and dips I am so glad we did a trial run for both make up and hair. It helped relieve stress and narrow down how I wanted my make up and hair. The beautiful life team also did an amazing job of collecting our inspiration looks and booking us with a team with more experience in the looks we all wanted. The only hiccup was a mistake on the schedule sent out a few days before the wedding. I seemed to have received another wedding group's schedule along with mine. In addition, my schedule had a different hair and make up team listed. I freaked out thinking we were not getting airbrush as we planned since Melissa was the only one that did airbrush at the time. This was corrected the next day after I reached out for confirmation. I would definately book this team again and I also get facials with Melissa every month

Clearly my makeup skill level is at Novice (euphemistically referred to as "low maintenance") going into my session. I was getting decked out for a party, and I wanted to look my absolute best -- and be able to keep my look through several hours of dancing. Before even getting started, Kimiko made sure to talk through some of the options with me, getting a feel for how dramatic I wanted my look to be, how I felt about contouring/shimmer/other fancy makeup stuff, and tying in my makeup with the rest of my outfit. She takes forever to complete her job it took almost 2 hours to do a 45 min appointment. And my…read moremake up came out TERRIBLE. I tried fixing it myself multiple times. She would keep saying 10 mins and it took an hour later I was supposed to be ready for my engagement party and she made me over an hour late. My make up had discoloration my eyeshadow was on my nose, my eyeliner was the worst eyeliner I've ever seen, this was the make up look I showed her to do and this is what she did. I had her booked for me and 5 other girls for my engagement party and once I left she canceled on my whole event. Most probably because she knows how bad she did. I then asked for a refunded and she started to speak foul to me staying the reason she did so bad was because I'm " buried to my phone and correcting every little thing." Not once was I rude to her work I tried to not make her insecure on her work but she made me feel so insecure with my make up on my day. I came home wiped it all off and now way more late. Not only that but on her yelp she says her make up is only $60 but she tried charging me $75 and then gave me a "discounted price" for supposedly $65. Worst service & worst make up I've ever experienced.

Checked them out on Facebook too, since they have no number listed on Yelp or google, reached out on FB messenger to the Business and I was connected to a lady named Stacie. She informed me that you have to set up your appointment with her through an app called StyleSeat ... It's basically a Yelp for hair, nails, waxing, eyelashes, and pretty much everything beautifying. I'm not sure if all the technicians here at HOB use this app for scheduling appointments? But the app itself even has lots of reviews and pictures too, plus Stacie gave me her Instagram to check out even more of her work, and I was sold lol.... She really has some talent! So everything is by appointment through the app only. And it's really easy to use. So my appointment date rolls around. Stacie informed me VIA text she was a little behind and if I could come 30.mins later, sure no problem. Arrived and sent her the text that I was there (since she informed me they keep the doors locked for safety reasons) and she lets me in... The place is a little house that's been transformed into a salon, and each room has its own little station, it's super cute,, fun, clean and comfortable. I loved it. And Stacie was very easy to talk to, super sweet and friendly, And she understood what I wanted, even kept asking me little details to make sure she did what I wanted too!... and I'd say she delivered! she brought my hair back to life! lol. I was so happy with her work. She has the hands of a machine when it comes to blow drying your hair, lol. I've never seen such movement with a hairbrush and blow dryer before. Haha!
