Great sushi place in the midst of Zurich. The menu offers a lovely variety of sushi, sashimi, teriyaki and some cold and warm platters. As everything is prepared right on the spot so it might take a few minutes until you get your food but it's well worth the wait! Our dishes were delicious and we'll certainly be back soon to try the other platters as well. Plus their Oolooong tea is so good as is their sake collection.

Hand made Gyoza. Even the sauce they serve is hand made - awesome!

They have pre-made selections of bowls and sushi, or you can custom order on their kiosk for dining in or takeaway. We decided to dine in (prices are the same here whether you dine in or takeaway, which is nice). After placing our order on the kiosk, a ticket is printed out for you which you then take to the counter to pay. They give you a buzzer but the sweet gal actually brought our order to the counter table we picked out in the front corner, which was a great spot for people watching. My son and I both selected a make-your-own bowl and got salmon bowls customized with the toppings and sauce we liked (€18ish). They have a selection of wines and beers in the fridge too and I enjoyed a can of chilled Italian red wine (€9). Both of us liked our meals and were too full to get dessert... they have a matcha soft serve with Kit Kat topping that looked really good (€6).

I wasn't in the mood going far from the hotel and this was just a 2 minute walk. I wanted to order the chicken Katsu bento to go thinking it will be made fresh to order but they just told me to pick up something that's already been pre-made. I didn't want to do it coz I wanted At least something freshly made. So the lady suggested chicken ramen. So I ordered it and 2 bottled water it ended up to 21 CHF ($26) . I said to myself, this better be the best bowl of ramen I've ever had in my life. My order literally came out within 5 mins so I went straight back to my hotel room excited to have some ramen. When I opened it, just by look of it, it didn't look like ramen. I took a sip and it was more like soba soup with ramen noodles. So so disappointed!!! And to pay that much it was nothing special. Most expensive bowl of ramen I've tasted and I think top ramen was way better!!

I've heard that this place gets busy, but it was easy to make a reservation online and there were plenty of empty tables when I arrived at 8:30pm Tuesday night for a late dinner. The atmosphere is very intimate and very Japanese. I'm a huge fan of the wood paneling everywhere. 10/10 would visit the next time I'm in Zurich.

Me and my friends were lucky enough to just wait 30 minutes to get a table for 4. I ordered their Tonkatsu Ramen. It had a nice solid brothe to it, just missing a slight kick that a tonkatsu ramen generally has but still hella good! The noodles were slightly firm and it accompanied the brothe well. I had a WHOLE egg to myself and it was slightly runny which you know a damn fact makes a ramen more wholesome! The other bits of toppings were good as well. My friend order their Miso ramen which I gave a try and I'll say fora fact that it was lacking a bit in what a Miso ramen stands for. They were TOO generous with the bean sprouts which ruined the whole ramen experience for my friend All in all, I had a solid experience here but can't say the same for my buddy. Definitely them a try!

Tantanmen had sesame oil flavors and the shoyu broth was very light but a bit bland for me so I added the extra sauces they had on the table. The noodles are made fresh in restaurant and they have a clear glass so you can see it being made if you're lucky. It was pretty cool watching one of the workers make it. The noodles definitely tasted great and was authentic. This ramen place is a bit on the pricier side and my friend said the prices were noticable raised but she loves this place so much, it didn't bother her. There are public bathrooms downstairs that they keep taken care of. As soon as you sit, they have clear separating glasses between tables which feels very sanitary, I love it. The ramen served is very aesthetic. I love the way they write their slogan on the nori. My favorite part is that they give you a bib to wear which was easy to put on. Both my friend and I definitely needed it because we both had soup spills on our bibs haha service was nice and they have wifi as well. This place seems to get packed very easily!
