They provided guidance to our design and dreams, and our new kitchen is more functional, updated, and looks beautiful. We are enjoying cooking, entertaining, and living every day in our remodeled home. The whole Sentry team was professional and easy to work with. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any home project. Thank you Sentry Construction!

We decided to add a walk-in closet for me, and to extend our master bedroom. We contacted Sentry…read moreConstruction, and "Chris", the president came out and talked with us. He did measurements, and then made an appointment to come back and discuss the process. The discussion included the approximate time it would take to complete the project along with the different stages involved, and what was expected of us. It was truly amazing to watch each crew as they performed their "phase" of the construction. The workers were all professional and respectful. Each crew worked in concert with the other (weather permitting), and every phase completed appeared to be seamless. We were kept abreast of what was happening, and of what would happen next, and "John" was impressive. He was courteous, and shared details with us. He would also do follow-up to ask if a job had been completed, and to ask if we were satisfied with the results. I love my walk-in closet, and Sentry Construction was truly interested in customer satisfaction. The completed renovations exceeded our expectations. Our bedroom is beautiful, and it looks as if it was always that size.

Bottom line up front, DO NOT HIRE Alvarez General Construction. Our experience was the same as…read moreNathan Herron . We signed the original contract in July 2024 and after multiple excuses, delays, poor workmanship, and weeks where no work was accomplished, we fired them in August 2025 after finding empty alcohol cans in the crawl space "hidden" amongst other construction trash. Additionally, I found other empty alcohol cans in the dumpster and in a bag where lunch was eaten. I sent them a termination for cause later through certified mail and they never accepted it. They did acknowledge the copy of the letter I sent through a text message. The new contractor we hired has had to fix multiple electrical mistakes (smoke detector wired to a wall switch as one example), had to redo the plumbing so it would drain towards the septic tank and not flow backwards, and many other items inside. In one month our new contractor has fixed things done incorrectly and moved the project more than the last three months before we fired Alvarez. As soon as they were fired they blocked both my wife and I so we could not post a negative review. Here is a basic timeline on how "progress" went. 1.
