Always friendly and helpful and, while it is no tractor supply, it has what is needed just in a smaller selection. Prices are decent as well

In 1938, Charles Schmidt founded Tractor Supply Company in Chicago as a mail-order business selling…read moretractors and tractor parts. The first retail store opened in 1939 in Minot, North Dakota. From 1941 to 1946, the company grew as they opened stores in Nebraska, Minnesota and Iowa. In 1967, Tractor Supply opened their first international store in Canada. As of 2024 there are 2,250 Tractor Supply stores in 49 states. Today Tractor Supply sells much more than tractors. In their large, bright, and clearly marked stores shoppers can find home improvement, agriculture, lawn and garden, maintenance, livestock, horse, and pet care equipment and supplies. They even sell clothing from babies to adults. Tractor Supply has become a favorite store of farmers, ranchers, hunters, animal owners, handymen, mechanics, and homeowners. This was my first visit to a Tractor Supply store and I was surprised. It reminds me of an old fashioned general store with a little something of everything. On one side of the store was clothing and animal supplies and on the other was home improvement and tools. In the center of the store are displays with toys, books, snacks, accessories, and seasonal items. After some vehicle issues we ended up at this Tractor Supply in Fort Pierce for some tools to change a tire. I had fun exploring the store and checking out all it had to offer. Outside there was even a garden center with live plants and kayaks for sale. There were employees all over the store to offer help. A really sweet feature is if you come in with your dog they will give it a treat. In the end some of the things we picked up here didn't end up being the right ones and others were more expensive compared to shopping at Harbor Freight. Tractor Supply has a 30 day return policy. The closest Tractor supply to where I live is in Pembroke Pines. If you need it, chances are Tractor Supply will carry it along with other unexpected treasures.

Very disappointed! Otherwise it's a lovely store. Although there are recent addition of guns is not something that is in compliance, in my opinion, with nature and the garden and raising animals

Been in this place a couple times now for catfish food. Very old town set up as if little has…read morechanged in 70 years . (well except for the help!) Very friendly and accommodating. Special orders were no problem (I needed sinking food for starting out with the fry) Went back the other day to purchase a bag of catfish adult food and well, my fault, took the wrong 50# bag home. Omnivorous is for Talapia & Catfish, carnivorous is for Bass & Perch. No problem with the return, credit and repurchase. The help didn't complain about the extra totin' of 50# bags to and from my car. There have been other issues too that were handled with good ole' southern friendly charm! Commerce with confidence. You'll be treated right. My first visit was a hoot because I kept hearing what sounded like a miniature vacuum cleaner droning noise in the front display area. I actually thought this old-timey country store might even have one of those high tech computerized vacuum units patrolling the sales floor for "stuff" to clean up. Well after about 10 minutes of my perusing their interesting inventory of farm animal wares and accessories, low and behold a adult pot bellied pig rounds the corner! Now this guy is quite a good sport too I'm told. He will gladly untie your shoes for you if you let him/her? This hunk of pork is all of 3' long and his back is close to 24" of the floor. Soooo cute - but not too fluffy! The ole pig is as friendly as can be, and will make you day-visit I'm sure! That is if the chicken pecking at feed behind the front counter, or the huge (15# ?) rabbit she keeps in tow while ringing up your charge at the register doesn't! What else can I say? I enjoy the visits and always have left happier than when I entered. They also have cat and dog, and other farmer stuff products too. Next visit I'll get a close up mug shot of the, ummmmm, piggy, piggy!
