According to the app, the items I wanted were in stock but in fact, they did not have the items in stock. In fact, one of the items, men's body wash was almost completely barren. The shelves looked empty as if they were moving the products to another area. This is not only frustrating but also a big waste of my time. In the past, I've had employees tell me that the app doesn't reflect their stock. Perhaps this is just a drawback of the app but perhaps they should indicate with a note stating the store may not have the item in question.

Probably not the most filling thing to order, but then it wouldn't sit (grumble) on my stomach for the long flight back. Wide selection of everything you're probably used to getting (staples) on the mainland, it just all probably costs (it does) a bit more on the island due to shipping, etc. Cheaper than a restaurant and FRESH though. I spoke with two floor and one customer service manager and those ding dongs absolutely would not hold the PAID FOR TV until I came to get it because I had already spent $160 of my money, not my school's to pick it up. They just could not figure it out, It took me over an hour to get a store manager to agree to keep his eye out and then put it in his office so it wouldn't get sold. That never happened. It was in the back with all of the other stuff in the back. Luckily, I came back the next day, so $200 in gas. Such a ghetto organization. Shameful how poor the customer service is. It is so embarrasing because people from other places that understand how customer service works come to Kona and get to experience how stupid people are..... And another thing- I never buy food at Target because it is always expired. I happened to pick up a bag of popcorn on sale because I was hungry- Expired again and I didn't notice until half the bag was gone. Target, you should replace your managers and service people. They have failed miserably. No one should have to endure such stupidity. It's a newer island so the rocks/hardened lava/beaches tend to be more slippery and sharp. There's a lot of out-of-stocks here at this Kona location, but since the selection is so big you can usually find something. Large location in a shopping center with lots of parking. Not cheap, but that's how it is for most drugstores

My script for controlled medication(ADHD meds) was called in on a Friday...I didn't hear anything…read moreabout the script being filled for several days... finally on the next Thursday I had a chance to call them...they said it 'was a different pharmacist that worked that Friday and they weren't sure why it wasn't filled...they said they would have it filled by the next day. With controlled substances, the script is only good for one week, then you have to go back to doctor and have them resubmit the script....so had I not pushed through my mental disorder, harder than it seems, I would have had to start the whole process over again; leaving messages with doctor, waiting for their response then calling the pharmacy and cosplaying as the manager...which I essentially already had to do the first time. Mental health is difficult enough to manage, having to manage the pharmacy to do their job is exceedingly overwhelming. I did inform them I would not be back, as this is already strike two. Please do your job. You are here to help patients get through their lives and you're making it worse.

Then they told me and the doctor had to be called to change the prescription. I used the Walmart optometrist which was fantastic (see that review too). All they had to do was just tell me they were out. It went beyond that 30 minute time before I was informed. I was in and out of Long's Drugs in 10 minutes. Other Walmart's have been fine. This was just a waist of time.

I am a foster for a rescue. I was fostering a litter of 9 young puppies with pneumonia who needed…read moreantibiotic immediately. The prescription was called in under my name. When I got there the lady at the counter was exceptionally rude telling me I needed to have the name of the puppies and their birthdays not my name. I told her it was called in under my name. She said it would not be under my name it would be under the puppies last name. I told her they are puppies they do not have last names. I told her the medicine was needed for puppies who had pneumonia and reiterated they were foster puppies. She told me it didn't matter and then went to talk to the pharmacist who at that time was speaking to the prescribing vet. She comes back and tells me that it is under my last name but the patients are the puppies. Ok. She asks if I have gotten prescription there before. I tell her not that I can remember, maybe about 11 years ago. She procedes to say she will then need my full name, birthday, address, phone number etc. I give it to her. After waiting an hour right in front of the counter while they are behind the counter giggling. I finally get up to talk to a male person at the counter. He gives me the prescription and I pay for it. It is listed with my name as my puppies with an address I haven't had for 10 years. Now I know why I do not get my prescriptions filled there.
