Hey, being from the Mainland, it's great to have a familiar grocery store to shop at. There is…read moreplenty of parking and local goodies such as pineapples! There is nothing like a Hawaiian pineapple people. After having one of these, you will be able to tell the difference from others. There is a gas station currently being built which is great. And, your mainland Safeway reward number works here just fine. Nice place to get your groceries if you aren't looking to get Costco size items.

Why not Safeway I asked, there will be a deli and we can get a few things. Did. Easy to get to, lots of parking. What a refreshing place, very light and airy interior with wide aisles people walking around in a friendly manner (I have not witnessed anyone in a hurry, angry, nor have I witnessed or experienced road rage on this island). Great atmosphere. I went to ask about the poke bowls and was told what was out was it as they'd already gone through all the fresh fish for the day. Man in a way that was great ... I knew then it was all fresh, what was there was going to be awesome tasting and run with it. Probably not the most filling thing to order, but then it wouldn't sit (grumble) on my stomach for the long flight back. Wide selection of everything you're probably used to getting (staples) on the mainland, it just all probably costs (it does) a bit more on the island due to shipping, etc. Cheaper than a restaurant and FRESH though. Clean parking lot (I am one of those people that bring buggies from the parking lot to use while shopping), friendly place, easy location. Shopped on: 12/11/2024 at 76-971 Henry Street.

For those suggesting I call, I did. Acting store manager refused to allow my Keiki and even my wife from bringing one out to me. I lived w shopping here before now no longer. Walmart in Hilo did the same. They're owned by FEMA (Hilo Walmart) so apparently FEMA & whoever owns Target don't care a lot for their disabled customers. Long time customer lost out of discrimination against ADA.

This Target is so terrible I feel I must wait. Firstly, my Donor's Choose TV... I had to buy a TV…read morethrough Target because no one would ship a 75" TV to my classroom. It was a donation from the Benioff's to DOE and it takes a ton of work to do the requests. No one would ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever,e ver, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever answer the phone to check stock. I tried to pick it up at the store. I live an hour and 10 minutes away. Order cancelled because, although the website said it was there, it wasn't, so the system cancels but did not notify anyone at Donor's Choose or me. THIS HAPPENED FOUR TIMES, FOUR DRIVES TO KONA AT $40 A POP. I spoke with two floor and one customer service manager and those ding dongs absolutely would not hold the PAID FOR TV until I came to get it because I had already spent $160 of my money, not my school's to pick it up. They just could not figure it out, It took me over an hour to get a store manager to agree to keep his eye out and then put it in his office so it wouldn't get sold. That never happened. It was in the back with all of the other stuff in the back. Luckily, I came back the next day, so $200 in gas. Such a ghetto organization. Shameful how poor the customer service is. It is so embarrasing because people from other places that understand how customer service works come to Kona and get to experience how stupid people are..... And another thing- I never buy food at Target because it is always expired. I happened to pick up a bag of popcorn on sale because I was hungry- Expired again and I didn't notice until half the bag was gone. Target, you should replace your managers and service people. They have failed miserably. No one should have to endure such stupidity. I already cancelled my card and I am boycotting due to your cancellation of Diversity and Equality, but people still gotta know that you are feeding them old, expired food.
