She gave me a horse to my level, gave my little hints as we went along, rode to my level. But there were two other more experienced riders along and Judy made sure they got a chance to gallop (which I didn't want to do) so she met all our needs. I had such a fantastic time. It was so professional. I can not wait to go back and I would highly recommend.

Four of us were ranging from beginner to semi-experienced riders and Jim made it easy for us, and the river trail with the gorgeous valley views was awesome. Jim and Vinny were super chill and up for heading out to the river. They asked me if I'd ridden horses before. Which, I have, half a dozen times or so. They saddled up Shade for me and off we went. :D He tried to walk into some low branches at first to test me! Lol. But, fortunately I'm intelligent and experienced enough to know you can steer a horse. After that he was pretty good. We crossed 2 small arms of the river, turquoise water! Then came out to see the river valley like something out of a wizard book! So coool! Mountains and waterfalls, forest and river! Very surreal. It was sometimes a narrow forest trail with some reasonably shallow crossings. Shade did try to test me again. So, having confidence and at least a bit of practical experience riding smart horses in varied terrain made it fun and exciting. If you are a super beginner, it may not be for you. But, anyone who loves amazing scenery and actually knows how to ride a horse would have the time of their life for sure! So close to the city, yet felt a world away. The workers were accommodating to different needs of the children. Kids can get up and personal with different farm animals. The entrance fee included a pony ride for the kiddie. My one horse had seasonal allergies which special feeding (soaking hay etc) requirements were made. I had my own vet, farrier and riding coach, all came to the property without issue. I was told there was a potential to see a black bear so I was always on the lookout for it, I wanted to see one so badly but we unfortunately was unable to see one. They probably knew I wanted to see them so they hid from us. This two hour ride was absolutely worth it! There were multiple spots during our ride when the guide would ask if we wanted to go faster and the whole group said yes. It was quite fun & unique to be on a horse cantering. We fed turkeys, small pig, donkeys, llamas, peacocks, bunnies, and guinepeags. I got hugs from the goose and kisses from snow (horse) as well as back tickles from the other horse. This was an experience like no other. I will be back here if I am ever in the Sunshine Coast. The tour guide was incredible and kind as well as knowledgeable on everything.

For the amount of money you spend on monthly lessons your not really getting a great value. The…read morelesson horses are decent, but the structure and communication between the teacher's is the worst I've ever seen they don't know who's coming or going or what your child has learned from the previous lessons. Always a different person rotating- pretty annoying actually. You don't get what you pay for in the hourly lesson rates for it hardly ever is one hour total. Minus well take your child to a pony ride walk around in circles for they don't keep track very well. The ring is always over booked and crowded. Nice it's covered- the stalls are good size but man those poor horses living in such tiny muddy paddocks it's not a very great place to keep your animal long term. The lesson horses are of decent quality as well. You would think with the owner's experience they would be able to manage a establishment much more successful. Don't think their too concerned with their riders advancing at a steady pace. The trainers will be texting while doing a lesson not even paying attention sometimes. Personally if there was another place to take your money from my experience go somewhere that is more invested in structure and advancement
