Luckily the other desk took my chart for me and led me to the back room where I could change. I loved that they not only had wipes to wipe off prior to getting examined, they also had deodorant next to the robes so you could put it on after the exam was over! (For those of you who don't know, you can't wear lotion, powder or deodorant for a mammogram.)

You don't have to go all the way to the main UofM hospital for simple diagnostic testing like…read moreultrasounds or x-rays. Why do that to yourself? Driving around in circles looking for a parking place at the main hospital in enough to make you crazy. Try to see if you can go to one of the satellite offices such as Briarwood Building 9, close to Briarwood Mall so you could even go shopping afterward, if you're interested in that sort of thing. They now do mammograms at Building 9! Over the years, I've had various x-rays and an ultrasound. Not exactly thrilling, but reassuring to be able to say absolutely nothing is wrong inside there.

However, I must also complain that during the procedure I received very bad bruises including four blisters on both feet. They have still not healed today (December 28) and require continuing attention. They were concealed by the loose-fitting socks required for the surgery. I believe they were the result of a moment or two of inattention by the attendants who were moving me or perhaps being bumped by the equipment, but however they were caused, they still have required constant attention since the surgery and will probably require another few weeks of attention. The cardiac rehab I have received has also hindered their healing.

Went here for treatment of a UTI. They did not provide…read moreadequate cleaning towelettes and had no instructions posted on how to obtain a clean sample. Mine was contaminated but they did give me a prescription which cleared the infection. Since then I have been billed twice for over $600 for the service. I called them three times. The first time no one was there so I left a message. The next two times I explained that they had to bill one insurance as primary and the other insurance as secondary. They obviously didn't listen the first time as I called and verified that my primary insurance had never been billed although their bill noted that insurance said "not covered". Whoever is doing their billing does not know what they are doing. I was told that they will bill as I have instructed twice now - we'll see if they get it right the 3rd time! I will NEVER go here again and I suggest you don't either.

I'd been having some GI trouble for about a week so I caved and finally went to this urgent care. I…read morepopped in during the UofM/State football game so I had hoped the wait wouldn't be too long but it was still about 2 hours. BUT you can join their waitlist online (or via kiosk if you go there in person) and get updates via text to come back for your appt time. Which rules. So I filled out my info on the kiosk (next time I'll do it on their website so I don't have to go in) and went home to wait. 10 Minutes before my appt I went back. And I was back and seeing someone 15 minutes later. The facility is new so it's super nice and clean. They have a fish tank in the lobby (which delighted some children waiting) and comfortable, plentiful seating. There's also a small shop which I assume is open M-F 9-5 with snacks and such. That primarily for the office workers I'm sure but it's a nice perk for patients. The person I saw for my appt was a student NP and she was super nice and helpful but still, a student. The doc came in after she assessed me and did a brief exam and gave me some tips for feeling better. I kind of wish he hasn't seemed so rushed and took more time with me because after I left I felt like I still had some questions. So you may need to be a bit more of an advocate for yourself here if you're more comfortable with a doc. Clinic staff is also super nice, btw.

Those visits haven't always been the greatest because I always have issues getting refills for my medications in a timely manner, even just simple BC. However I continued to frequent the office. Huge mistake! I should have stopped a long time ago but everything happens for a reason. Recently, I had terrible pain in my feet and made myself an appointment with a podiatrist who properly treated me. They requested that I get a global referral from my primary care provider. I called my primary care physician and requested one but they adamantly refused to give me one because I hadn't been seen for foot pain in her office. I find that completely ridiculous. I am very disappointed. I will not be returning. There are better providers out there

I had visited the Plymouth Rd location in the past, but this new location on Ann Arbor Saline Rd was more convenient for me on this occasion. Walk in or schedule online (I scheduled), and I had no wait once my time came. I was seen immediately and within 30 minutes of entering Meijer, I was leaving with my prescription in hand. The staff was friendly and professional, the location is clean and welcoming, and I felt immediately at ease here. Highly recommend!
