I chose this location because of its proximity and the variety of fruit and vegetables. Unfortunately, it was not worth the tolls or the money I spent. Upon arrival, there was no greeting or acknowledgment; in fact, everyone working there appeared disengaged and unhappy, for lack of a better term, methodically walking around and stocking produce. The tomatoes I purchased were not ripe; some were mushy on the inside, while others were hard. They lacked the earthy flavor that distinguishes them from their supermarket counterparts and had a waxy texture with no aroma. I also bought cucumbers, which were hard and dry except for the very center. The cantaloupe was acceptable, as was the watermelon section. Millville will be the next area I explore, as there are back roads with more options. I was extremely disappointed.

I haven't actually bought much from Muzzarelli's because it's way out of the way for me, but I have…read morebought a few fruits and veggies from them and they've been good and fresh and reasonably priced. They're famous for the orchard fruits, especially apples. Muzzarelli's does fun activities for groups of school children during the fall. They have a corn maze, pick your own pumpkin and other fall activities that are lots of fun. When our group went, we had a picnic and spent a fun 2+ hours. Recommended for young elementary school aged children.

Went to Sweet Amalia for our anniversary lunch today and sampled several items off the board!…read more Started with 6 of their Sweet Amalia oysters and their Sweet Corn Bruschetta! They both were delicious. Next we ordered 6 of their Sloop Point, 6 of their Laughing Gulls along with an order of their Tuna Crudo - they all didn't disappoint! Then we rounded out our visit with their Eggplant sandwich and their Oyster Po Boy that featured fried Sweet Amalia's that we shared. Both were served on a crusty, sesame seeded Po Boy roll. Everything was fantastic which was complicated but their superb, friendly service - made you feel like family! The atmosphere was warm and the seating on the patio was enhanced with today's perfect weather! They were continually busy while we were there filling all of their tables. In addition to the awesome fare, they also offered local produce, hot sauces, jams, jellys and other cooking tools and cook books! I would give them 5 Stars in all categories. I however felt that the shucked oysters were rather small and with that overpriced at $ 22.00 for a half dozen. All of the other menu items that we enjoyed were a little pricey but definitely not unreasonable given the outstanding quality! I would definitely rate them as a great place to try - well worth the trip down! Give them a try!

Really enjoyed my time hanging at Sweet Amalia's! The atmosphere is amazing. It has a almost…read moreseaside dock kind of vibe. Very New England style. However, the only bummer was the food wasn't that good. Now granted this was my first time coming here and we only got three things. But the clam chowder was so salty we couldn't even finish a cup of it. The muscles were cooked perfectly, however, the broth again was too salty. And the eggplant sandwich has a great sauce! But the bread to eggplant ratio was off. However, that's not to say I will not be coming back here. I definitely am. There is plenty more on the menu to try, and I'll be able to for a better opinion the more different dishes I taste.
