I had an EEG done that revealed anxiety (as expected), which was really valuable to me in terms of confirming my own thoughts/experiences, but also giving me concrete data to work with and develop a plan. I started using Nexalin as often as I could and occasionally did Zengar as well. I gradually began to feel less stressed over classes, and felt I had a calmer, more present mentality in general. I stopped getting so anxious over exams and other more minuscule things that would normally cause me overactive anxiety. Obviously, these are things that require lifelong improvement and attention, but I felt noticeable changes much quicker than expected, and believe that with formal treatment guided by Dr. Adler, many would benefit. Everyone in the office is incredibly warm, genuine, and welcoming. Clients are approached with the same friendliness you'd experience with a family member or an old friend. This becomes very obvious when you see how the clients interact with staff and how they express their gratitude. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for therapy, especially if you are curious about neurofeedback! (PS. Follow @parkavepsychotherapy on social media!)

My partner, however, truly wanted to work things out. From our very first session, Mr. Garrett made both of us feel heard and respected. He listened attentively to each of us without taking sides and created a safe space where we could speak honestly even about the hardest parts of our relationship. Through his guidance, we were given real, practical tools and strategies to improve our communication. These were not just ideas, but skills we could actually practice in our day-to-day life. One of the biggest areas of growth for us has been learning how to communicate our needs clearly and set healthier boundaries with one another. Because of this, our communication has improved tremendously since we started seeing him. What makes Mr. Garrett especially valuable to us is that he truly knows our history. As we now explore a new version of our marriage, we feel confident continuing to practice the tools he has taught us. We plan to check in with him once a month to reflect on our progress, what is working, and what may need adjustment. His feedback is incredibly meaningful to us because it comes from a deep understanding of where we've been and where we are trying to go. We are truly grateful for his patience, insight, and support throughout this process. His guidance has helped us grow not only as a couple, but also as individuals.

Simona, the owner is very passive aggressive and insensitive. Time to Heal Counseling would be significantly better with an owner worthy to be the face of the name ; Simona the owner is a prime example of someone being in health care just for the money , to own a mental health facility with a disgusting insensitive attitude is a slap in the face to those who entrusted your company while managing their own issues. My 1 star is simply for my therapist although she deserves 5 but this facility is ZERO stars . I DO NOT RECOMMEND, Simona sell your company to a more compassionate person cause you are not that. If you have straightforward or short-term needs, this practice may be a good fit. And you will like the waiting room with its refreshments and atmosphere! However, for complex relationship issues, high-conflict dynamics, or situations requiring coordinated care, I would urge caution. My partner and I attended weekly marriage counseling here for over half a year, alongside individual therapy at the same practice. Despite this, core issues in our relationship were never meaningfully addressed. For example, my partner did not want to work or clean, or contribute financially when they were working, for years - and these issues were not given sustained attention in therapy. There was also limited to no coordination between couples counseling and individual therapy, despite overlapping and relevant issues being discussed weekly. This included situations that left me feeling traumatized, such as not being able to use my car or not being able to celebrate my birthday together. I repeatedly tried to advocate for more structure and clarity, but these efforts did not lead to progress. Over many appointments I tried to open up and get help here. I even read 'The Couples Psychotherapy Treatment Planner' myself in an effort to improve therapeutic communication (I am autistic), and sent emails to the owner - all for naught. All in all I wish I had given that time of my life and marriage to a different counseling place more equipped to handle complex cases. Perhaps I would have had to still file for divorce in the end to protect myself, but it may have turned out better as well.
