My first time shopping for a firearm was a bit intimidating, because for a newbie, "guns" are a bit intimidating, but the staff was great. They have tons of handguns, rifles, and shotguns for all levels (affordable and expensive). They offer expert trainings for anyone who has zero experience with guns, and the price is very affordable. They offer additional training for CCW. The facility was recently renovated. All in all, I hope you give them a try. I always appreciate good decent people who show up in good faith to be helpful, and this has been my experience with UHGC. When you meet people who actually care, what more can you ask for. Be safe, practice caution and common sense when buying and using firearms. Good luck to everyone.

The owners are professional and courteous , good people. However, after becoming a member, my experience changed significantly. I found that many basic activities and services incur additional fees, which were not clearly communicated upfront. Charges for actions such as drawing from a holster , even for a concealed carry permit holder already certified by the state and assistance with equipment purchased on-site, such as red dot alignment, created the impression that nearly every interaction comes at an extra cost. My primary concern involves ROC Training. While the instructors themselves are knowledgeable and capable, the overall structure feels excessively focused on generating additional revenue. During classes, there are frequent attempts at upselling, including solicitations from insurance representatives during breaks. Furthermore, certain courses such as those related to concealed carry in constitutional carry states do not appear sufficient on their own, requiring attendees to enroll in additional classes at further expense in order to meet application requirements. This lack of clarity and continuity can be frustrating for participants. Ultimately, I chose to cancel my membership due to these concerns. In my view, the overall experience reflects a pricing model that prioritizes incremental charges over transparency and member value.

However, every time you go, there is a man who says he's checking for flags, who ends up bragging about who they are, giving you ten minutes of their biography, and are completely annoying. One fellow stayed to blatantly watch me and stare at all our firearms. It was downright harassing and rude. He wouldn't leave. He then proceeds to tell us how he bought his wife a gun and she threw it at him. What? Why would you mention that to us? This week we had a man tell us he was an instructor and worked with FBI. Besides everything else. He had no idea who he was talking to, nor OUR credentials. Then he claims he was a Marine. When we asked when he served, he avoided answering. I hate fakers who claim they are Vets. These men are ridiculous and need to stop hounding the folks who go to shoot peacefully. They interrupt and annoy each and every time. This needs to stop. By the way, we had flags in all our firearms and were following all rules and regs. He still bothered us again by coming back yet again to ask for a brass hammer. Who carries a brass hammer to the Range? This is a great place but these men need to go.
