We had purchased a bookcase in August 2016 from The Mallery Hall Collection company. We really liked the design of that bookcase, and we were hoping that this would be a great piece for our study. The bookcase arrived two weeks later than promised, and to our surprise, it was packaged only in a thin layer of shrink wrap. We immediately discovered damages in multiple places. Also the shipping company refused to assemble whole bookcase. We were told that Mallery Hall never paid for full assembly, and if we want to have it assembled we have to pay extra. We had specifically requested and paid for full assembly at the time of purchase, because of the size of the bookcase. It is almost 10' wide and 8' feet high. We contacted The Mallery Hall and complained about damages and assembly and requested to replace the damaged bookcase. We were told by Mrs. Karol Field that this is a custom piece, there is no refund and damages can be repaired. We tried to explain that we had paid $6,500.00 for a new piece and not damaged and repaired piece. We also requested Mallery Hall to arrange full assembly of the bookcase. Mrs. Field ignored all our requests and all she did was to schedule repair company to come out and glue pieces of broken wood back together and paint the scratches. It looks pretty bad and we are stuck with damaged and repaired piece of furniture. Mallery Hall claims that because this piece is in a "shabby chic" style made out of reclaimed wood damages were intentional and were part of the design. We provided them with pictures of raw wood showing and chipped of wood pieces hanging by a thread, which were damaged by shipping. Also the quality of the furniture it absolutely horrible. The design is nice, but the craftsmanship is very poor . It looks like somebody put it together from old palette wood in the back of the garage. mallery furniture warning!!! buyer beware!!! do not, i repeat do not purchase any furniture from mallery hall llc & owner karol disher. i am having a nightmare of an experience with this woman & her company, if there was a zero star that is what she & her company would get from me this nightmare cost me over $10,000 in furniture which i had to pay by check, finance and credit card, bed, dresser, mirror, chest, bench & two night stands which coming to find out i was over charged for and the shipping was almost $3,000 after several back and forths with karol on the phone and through texts they finally came with the furniture on friday the 10th of march put it in my driveway did not take it upstairs and left with all the furniture only to comeback the following tuesday because the trucking company said that they were not paid to assemble furniture but just to deliver which karol and her company had me pay for white glove delivery meaning assemble and leaving with packaging materials, they returned the following tuesday in the snow to deliver the furniture again, meanwhile i had thrown out all my bedroom furniture to prepare and make space for the delivery, my husband and i had to sleep 4 nights on the floor and then a hotel, we still have back and body pains as a result because they left with the furniture on that friday, then during set up of the furniture parts of the bed was damaged and she had the audacity to ask me if it can be repaired after paying so much money for the furniture plus she made me pay for insurance on the furniture as well so i said no!! the dresser was also busted to the front so they had to leave with the dresser and all my items on my dresser have been on the floor for weeks to no avail and she ignores my calls had to use a different number to call her and that's when she answered, she is a bold face lier and should not be trusted, first she says the trucking company plycon has to replace the damaged furniture then plycon is saying the are not responsible because she did not pay them to pack the furniture mallery hall packed it themselves so plycon is not responsible now i am stuck between karol disher and mallery hall and plycon trucking company, karol you need to read this review and send me my replacement furniture i just need to get all my pieces of furniture to be done with you and your company, very bad company i had read some bad reviews from some customers and when i mentioned it to her when they started giving me problems she said that it was just one bad customer but i actually came across 4 bad reviews on her company so i guess i am the fifth and i would never recommend her company to anyone not even my family who were interested and was waiting to see my furniture before they purchased i should have listened to my instincts and not buy anything from this company i am still waiting for the balance of my furniture and when this is over i will also be seeking reparations for everything that we have been through from this company. :-( karol also made me pay $899 for a bench she said would be free for buying over $10,000.00 worth of furniture!!!! here is the pics of the damaged furniture dresser and bed posts which i have yet to receive from her dishonest company. read more

I was unsure about ordering a couch online without seeing it but I have been pleasantly surprised! Our rep, Karol, was very thorough in sending details and pictures to make sure we got exactly the style and color we were looking for. We ordered a beautiful custom bed from Mallery Hall. It arrived slightly too tall to fit under our slanted ceiling. Karol was so amazing at helping us remedy the situation. She went out of her way to have our headboard sent to a local antique restoration company to modify the bed to fit our room. It turned out incredible, but Mallery Hall's customer service is the real super star. It's hard to find companies and owners these days that really stand behind their product and service, and completely dedicate themselves to making their customers happy.
