We went on the 20th, which was the Kennesaw Grand Opening. Everyone was nice and not pushy at all. We were approached by Granger, really nice. I told him what I was looking for and he said that makes it a whole lot easier for him to know what I want. While we started at one side of the store looking around, he went around the store to find what I wanted and within our budget. Granger came back and started walking with us and showed us exactly what we were looking for and within our budget. Everything is laid out for you without having to search for a price. Georgia Furniture Mart sells by the piece and the set. They have packages called "the small way", which are the bed, one nightstand, a dresser and a mirror. Then the "all the way" which includes the chest. Then all the prices are listed on the front of the packages in plain view. They deliver or you can pick up from their warehouse. They had everything but our nightstands for one set and would deliver when they came in, but we chose to save the half-price delivery fee and pick them up about 30 minutes from us at the warehouse. I shopped 3 major brand stores and at the end of the day, Georgia Furniture Mart was the best on furniture, by the piece and delivery price. My furniture was delivered on the 25th, by Jermaine and Eddie. You are given a time frame and can track it. My scheduled time was between 5 and 7:30 and I was delivery number 12, they called and got here at 3 pm. Yay!! And they put our furniture together. Jermaine and Eddie, we're very professional and worked great as a team. One thing I was told to do was to inspect the furniture before the guys left, the bedrooms were fine, I didn't think about the dining set till they walked out the door. Two stools were very wobbly and one of the wobbly stools had a chip. If you have issues with the furniture, call the 1-800 number. Your salesperson will not be able to help you after this point, it is best to just go straight to the website to get things moving faster. You will need to take videos and pictures of the issues and submit them, but the response was fast. The first appointment I had they rescheduled and the second appointment, Krashawn, the tech, fixed my stuff right at my house, even the cracked piece. The only thing is, for a brand new dining set, I should have gotten a brand new chair not a quick fix. Other than staying on top of checking your stuff, which it should never have left the warehouse like that. Georgia Furniture Mart has a nice selection, good prices, sells by the piece, two different packages, upfront visible pricing, stock available, friendly associates, a warehouse you can pick up from, and professional techs, it's a pretty good place to add for furniture shopping and I had no issues with my 2 bedroom sets. Then, he did not remember who I was when I called the next day. Overall, I would give the shopping and buying experience 1.5 stars. Delivery was a nightmare. I was told I would receive an email two days before with an exact timeframe and EXPLICIT details. I did. And they were quite explicit. 11:30 AM to 2 PM. I even called to confirm everything. I was working from home that day and had scheduled clients up until 11 o'clock so that I could be to my office by 11:25. However, around 10 AM the delivery driver called me and told me he was there "waiting"(at my office). I was in the midst of a session with a client, but picked up the phone because I knew it would probably be my only chance to speaker the driver. He told me he was there and wanted to know why I wasn't there. He also wanted to know how quickly I could get there. I told him I was working and that I could possibly get there by 11:20 or more likely, 11:25. He was clearly frustrated with me, and heavily implied this mishap was my fault. He said that this would not work for him. I said there's nothing I can do and that I was told delivery would be between 11:30 and 2 pm AND that I planned my entire day around their guidelines. He again made it crystal clear that he was very frustrated with me, that he was upset. He told me to get there as fast as I could and hung up. I have never met a delivery person that was so rude. When I arrived, his work partner, who was sitting in the passenger seat, semi-apologized for the drivers attitude - but the driver could not have cared less. To add insult to injury, their delivery fee is $189. I paid $399 for the loveseat. Never expected the delivery fee to be so high. This is unheard of. It was for one small loveseat. Also about two days after I ordered the sofa, which wasn't going to be delivered for a week, I began getting harassing phone calls and emails wanting me to upgrade my purchase and get furniture protection. I told them no, but they just continued calling. And emailing. All in all - It was a horrible experience, except that I like the loveseat. I was treated with a complete lack of respect. The driver never apologized for his blatant disregard, and a frustration level that actually concerned me. Since this was being delivered to an office and there were plenty of people around, I felt relatively safe. However, had this occurred at my house, I would never have allowed him in. I asked for their names; the man sitting in the passenger seat gave me his name, but the driver completely ignored me and never responded. I will never shop at this store again. Once you sign your paperwork, you are no longer a human being, only a number and expected to act like such. I would give -10 stars if I had the option.

    Meridith at the Kennesaw locations was incredible…read more My sister and I went into the store looking for the perfect chair for my mother who was about to leave the hospital after a 2 week stay. She needed something comfortable but beautiful. Meridith with a cheerful smile took us right to where we wanted to be. In moments we found what was needed. Meridith made the arrangements for us to pick up the chair that day at the warehouse, per our request. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the motor in the base of the chair. I quick visit to Meridith and it was all taken care of! Thanks Meridith we appreciate all your help!

They placed my order, but later I realized that several items were missing and they had added a protection plan I never agreed to. I went back to the store, they re-did my order, and supposedly fixed everything. Then came the delivery nightmare. I lost a day of work waiting for my furniture. They split my order into two separate deliveries -- the first one arrived, but the second was pushed back by several weeks. After complaining, they scheduled another delivery for today. Once again, I took the day off work, but the truck never showed up on time. Then I received a call from the store saying my order had been split again, and I would have to wait even longer -- still without a bed and mattress. I've been sleeping on the floor for weeks, waiting for the bed and mattress I paid for. They sold me items they don't actually have in stock and are holding customers hostage for weeks just to complete a delivery. This whole experience has cost me financially because I've had to miss work, and the constant delivery delays have been incredibly stressful. It's cold, and I risk getting sick because I'm still without a bed. Never again will I buy from Ashley Store. They sell what they don't deliver, and their customer service is completely unreliable.

It's still good...All $75 US dollars of it..... First this store is massive. It's got everything Wal-mart, Target, Kohl's and Ikea has all put together. If you need it, want it or didn't know it existed. It's here. From Kitchen stuff to steam irons to bedroom lamps to heated toilet seats.... Honestly I didn't know what to buy because I've got enough tchotchke to start my own Goodwill store. I tend to buy a lot of my cooking items at H mart now a days. But hey $75 is $75. So I ended up buying a blankets for about $24.99...to keep in the car... and I got some casserole dishes because I always end up giving mine away because I'll make something for someone and forget to get it back.... I must say they have great customer service. I must had about 4 people come up to me asking me if I needed help finding something. It's nice for a change...kudos to them for that..... Yep. Good experience. Good service. Next time I'm in the area. I'll pop by again and see if I can peel off a few more bills....
