Okay, I stopped in here for a card for Mother's Day, and found a really nice, really thoughtful…read moreone. My main grievance? Is that it's nurses and teachers week-and as evidenced by the sign in the photo I uploaded, I thought I would be allowed a truffle for my hard work and dedication to the public American mental health community. I get spit on, I get slapped around, and I get emotionally abused by my patients. And I endure it all with a smile on my face. All I wanted was a truffle. My request was denied "Nurses day was yesterday" the cashier said. The sign is nondescript and does not differentiate which day is which. Us nurses and teachers are supposed to have an entire week dedicated to some of the most outstanding and upstanding members of the community. We are under paid, under appreciated, and over worked. If you're a business owner and don't want to do anything for nurses week, that's just fine. But don't pull a bait and switch on me, that's just mean!
