Lied about my actual prescription being wrong and made an excuse instead of trying to uncover the discrepancy. Complained that she had to call the insurance company (that is her job). Also, I have been asking for my eye prescription for years and they will never send it, so they can force you to buy through them. There is a lot of good optometrists in Los Al, Seal Beach, Long Beach - I would recommend going somewhere else.

One example: After my first cataract surgery (laser), I was dreading the second. It wasn't painful but the laser was so bright that I was stressed, even though it's a relatively quick procedure. When I shared my concern with Dr M, he helped me come up with a strategy involving the anesthesiologist to help me relax before the actual surgery. The second one went so smoothly and stress free. The intake and screening process before meeting with Dr. Hertzog lasted about 1.5 hours, and Lisa took the time to thoroughly explain the process, procedure, and recovery expectations.
