The shrimp wasn't anything fancy just solid, reminded me of the fried shrimp at Float in Galveston. Just a good beach side fried shrimp, really crispy and good sized. The quesadilla also took us by surprise with both beef and chicken having good flavor but the cheese mix really set them off. But the dipping sauce stole the show. Some avocado/jalapeño dip that was really special and by the end of my shrimp dinner I was dipping them in it. There were a couple listed in the general area but this one was rated highest. The food was very flavorful and hit the spot perfectly. The refried beans were our favorite. Outside, there are some picnic tables under nice shade trees. It is lit well to see your surroundings but not blaringly bright, which was perfect. There are more seating options as its just across a small road from a park with a play area. Going back for sure!
