Such a disappointment. The chips and salsa were good but then things went down hill. My order of taquitos were meager with itty bitty dollops of condiments. The chicken filling was bland, but worse yet, the beef filling had an odd spoiled taste. DH ordered a burrito, he consumed it without complaining, but after we left he said it's too bad the valley had yet another mediocre Mexican restaurant. read more

One of the best things about visit western states is really good Mexican food. I don't have high standard based on where I'm from so anything out here is a step up. We stopped by Mama Inez for lunch. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman working the counter. I had the Baja Tacos with tilapia and shrimp. I really like that they fried their own taco shells which didn't fall apart with every bite. The food was very tasty and well seasoned. I like the fact that they did not use a lot of salt. My son had the braised pork tacos. He didn't like the pickled onion, but liked everything else. It seems like he was able to handle Mexican spicy better than Thai spicy that I'm used to. I ate the rest of his taco after he couldn't handle the spiciness anymore and it was really good. My husband had the Colorado Chile and he cleaned his plate as well. The chip and salsa that they served was very tasty and fresh. read more

Visiting from out of town. Our food took a good twenty minutes to be served. It was lunch, but the place wasn't overly busy. Good thing they have good chips and salsa to tide you over while you wait(not complementary). My husband ordered the taquitos. Said they tasted like the frozen ones we buy at Costco. The Baja tacos were fine. The shrimp taco tasted a little fishy, but the tilapia one was great. Weather was perfect, so it was nice to sit on the deck. read more

This is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants! We have been going here for 20 years and love it. The service is amazing and the food is incredible. The owners are so sweet and always go out of their way to make it a great dining experience. We love their chicken enchiladas, tacos and rellenos. The food was very very bland. And my least favorite thing is you have to pay for chips and salsa. And then I asked for water for me and my two year old and the waitress said we have to get our own. The location of the restaurant has a lot of potential in the outside dining area but instead looks like a poor excuse of a patio. We also had to switch chairs with an empty table because two of our chairs were broken and were holding together by a thread. read more

WOW..I cannot believe I am doing this to a local restaurant, but I am mad. Not only has the portion sized decreased since they re-opened, the quality has DECREASED!! My beef was overcooked and really tough....AND then I bit into ROCKS. I am serious. I had take-out and took the "hard stuff" to the sink to rinse off and evaluate. It was 3 small rocks. How do you get rocks inside an enchilada??? Sorry Mama's I was so impressed last year and thankful you came back. You lost me and whomever I can tell my story to in town! read more

I was hoping for a nice Mexican dinner. I ordered Chili Verdi which I've order in restaurants all across the US and Mexico. It is my favorite. I've never had Chili Verdi with a thick white sause. Usually it's a thin green sause over pork. I mentioned this to the clerk and a cook came out from the back and confronted me. Said his dad owned the place. He took my picture walking out of the restaurant. I will never go back here. Kind of weird. Tourist trap. read more

Mama Inez is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Their enchiladas are delicious and service is quick.

Yummy Mexican food, well flavored. They have a great patio, and they were nice enough to let our dog sit outside with us. Dog friendly patios are the best! We tried the chimichanga and the gordo, both were solid, and the prices were very reasonable. Nice place to grab a quick bite to eat in town. read more

We were on a road trip when we ended up in Ketchum. From the looks of the town, I figured we were going to spend a fortune on lunch. We saw this place and went in. I was surprised at how small it was, but our meal turned out great! We ordered our food and they gave us complimentary chips and salsa to eat while we waited. The salsa was delicious, tasted totally homemade. Our lunches came out in a timely manner and were SO YUMMY! The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that my meal wasn't twice as big! I could've eaten double it was so good! Wish it was closer to where I live. Oh, well. I highly recommend eating there! ! ! read more

This place is terrible. We love Mexican and thought we would shake it up from the normal Despos Mexican place which is pretty good. Our food was disgusting. After trying to go to at least four other places that were closed for lunch, I stopped by here for lunch. I wasn't expecting too much, but the burrito I ordered was crazy good, and much better than I was expecting! The portions were also huge, and they give every table chips and salsa as well.
