Megan is a wonderful administrator and knows every kid by name. My first son started around 14 months and went all the way through the pre-k class which really helped him be prepared for Kindergarten. My youngest son started at 5 months old and I cannot say enough good things about Ms. Diane and Ms. Karen. They are both the sweetest people and you can tell they love the children they take care of. Dropping your child off at daycare can be scary at any age but when they are so little it's even harder. You just have to hope you can trust the people taking care of them. Diane and Karen went above and beyond in that manner. So much so that my son would often reach for them at drop off and even when I came to pick him up he'd reach back for them. They are the best!

He took time off of work and we headed in at our selected time. We walked up to the school and piggyback in. Was not buzzed in. No one greeted us. We just walked in. We then sat there for 10 minutes and that's when a kitchen lady came out, and told us that the principal or lady who does all of the tours, was 45 minutes late. So we just sat there. Then I said to my spouse "You know what...I want to see something". I got up and walked around. No one said anything or asked me who I was. Another 10 minutes had passed and no one said anything. So I walked to where all the children were playing outside. They're corralled like animals in a fenced in playground, with about 50 plus kids of all ages in there. I opened the doors and stood there. I stood there for 30 minutes and no one said anything to me. The two younger girls (staff members) were on their phones chatting.....and I purposely stood right next to them to see if they'd say anything to me. NOTHING!!! Sooooo I turned around and went to find my spouse and told him. I said "this is not the school for us". Then the lady walked in who was supposed to give us the tour. She was all apologetic and I told her of the SECURITY BREACH, and she said she'd take care of it. Then she proceeded to show us around the school. Mainly the rooms for the 2.5 year olds. We went in and you're hit in the face with a URINE AND POOP SMELL. I just looked at my spouse. It smelt like a dirty animal control place, where they put 100's of unneutered stray cats. It was just gross. We were polite and finished the tour, but sincerely should have just left when she was a no-show. THIS PLACE IS SCARY UNSAFE!!! AND IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME.....GO AHEAD AND WASTE YOUR TIME. CHECK IT OUT YOURSELF. PS-To the staff and principal of the school...who will most likely write a response to this review......SHAME ON YOU!!! And I hope Child Protective Services pays you a visit. I will not change my review. I was appalled and your place is unsafe, unsanitary and disgusting.

In the first two weeks of attending A New Day, my granddaughter transformed from hesitation to excitement and wants to go to "school" even on her off days!! Where he was once hesitant, through his experience at A New Day, he now has the confidence to approach friends, new and old. My younger son is so proud of his work that he often takes it out of his bag at pick-up time to show me. The school has fun events and learning activities throughout the year. Big hits with my kids included water play days in the summer, growing a garden, planting flowers, new playground equipment, crafts, solar system lessons, and special events for Mother's and Father's Day. The teachers and the owner, Irma, are fantastic. You could not ask for better teacher communication, and Irma even responds on nights and weekends. They send parents lesson plan information and suggest related at-home activities. I love that they use an app to share daily updates and pictures. They've captured some beautiful images of my sons, sometimes together. I don't know how they do it, but the staff has never lost one item sent to school. Finally, the hours for A New Day are better than most schools for working parents.

Our daughter genuinely loved going to school each morning and was always excited to see her teachers and friends. She made friendships that have continued beyond the classroom through playdates, and we've watched her grow tremendously in her independence, sharing, and Spanish language skills. The teachers truly make this place special. Paola, in the baby room, is one of those rare people who is simply meant to work with children. Our daughter immediately bonded with her, looked for her every morning at drop-off, and learned to say her name very quickly. It was so reassuring knowing your child is excited to see their caregiver each day, and Paola gave us that confidence from the very beginning. When she graduated to the toddler classroom, Miriam has been equally wonderful. She is incredibly engaged with the children, and it was obvious from the start that our daughter connected with her. We've loved watching her come home counting in Spanish and enthusiastically trying to sing the ABCs, which is something we know was nurtured through Miriam's encouragement and teaching. They give preschoolers these cute BH backpacks and it's adorable. The teacher turn over has been low and many teachers have been there far longer than either of my kids have. My middle daughter started there 7+ years ago. They actually have four different play areas and inside gym and movement room. They also do a cool water sprinkler fun time during hot months. They have a huge unicorn sprinkler that the kids love. It's really sweet.
