Can't go wrong with Mama Mia's! Their pizza dough A1 and they deliver good quality pizzas every time.

This is the second time I come around and again the service was great, never a bad atmosphere of experience. Bread was fluffy and soft cooked all the way through with amazing poof, topped with Parmesan not super over powering just right. Lasagna was ordinary in the best way, nothing out of the norm of what you would expect from a traditional dish. Decided to get something different with the Chicken and Sausage - comes with mushrooms and cooked in a white wine sauce etc; it was good and not overpowering with flavor. The onions were nice a soft but not mushy, just the whole dish was a win. Side note I mention the onion for those who are not a big fan like myself but honestly it was great added some flavor that sit just right to the palate.

First timer trying the restaurant. It's BYOB and always busy so my husband and I wanted to see what it was all about. I got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and my husband got the Pasta Trio. Reasonably priced. They serve bread at the beginning which is bomb. Literally so good! The rest of the food wasn't really good though. Got a salad with our pasta, but there was way too much dressing and it was all lukewarm, like it has just been sitting out. It did take a very long time to get our food, but everything was very fresh and hot, so I didn't mind the wait. We went about 15 minutes with empty water cups until I finally flagged down our waiter and asked for more water. That's when he told us that the water had been shut off and it would be another 10-15 minutes before it was back on. We offered us something else. We got sprites. He ended up giving us bottles of water also. Once we finished eating, we waited about another 10 minutes before I had to find the waiter and ask for some boxes for my husband, and the check. He brought the boxes, but not the check, and never came back. We ended up going to the counter to pay, and as they were ringing us up, I noticed that we were charged for the sprites. I asked if that was necessary, since the only reason they were brought was due to the water being shut off to the restaurant. They were super understanding and took the sprites off. All in all, it wasn't the worst, but I don't think we'll be back. Cute place though!

Tried again their shrimp diablo with black olives and I added some parmesan cheese and absolutely loved it! It came with bread nice and warm and a salad.

The restaurant is small and intimate. The noisy floor bustles with happy people during lunch hour. Though Center street isn't an idyllic location by any means, the restaurant is beautiful inside and out, with lovely murals, paint, and texture. Once inside, it feels very Old World. Service is friendly, consistent, and always excellent. It's a great place for a business lunch or a date night. The menu is unique and appropriately very coastal. While there are staples common to most Italian restaurants, Antonio's has an abundant selection of lighter (healthier) options not so dependent on the typical heavy sauces, with lots of seafood and delicious fresh vegetables. Salmon Napoli is my favorite, but everything is excellent! Highly recommend!

There should be no need to write an update. I see that my initial review was written about 5 years ago. This is about how they handle the transferral of totaled tabs to the credit card. When I go to the Houston area, I usually eat lunch at Ivett's twice a week - yes, it's that good. And it's doable because I tend to stay in their "Bay Area," which is south of the city near Space Center Houston and in the suburbs adjacent to large Galveston Bay. Here's what the deal is, and this happened last year and a year or two before that. When I get the bill, it's usually a number that has cents attached to it, thus an "uneven" sort of number. To this, I add a tip. If the final bill were to be $12.72, for example, I might add $2.28 to bring it to an even $15.00. (I've asked restaurant employees over the years if this is weird and they tell me they have customers who do this.) Fast forward to the charge hitting the credit card. In 2025, one charge went through a meaningless few cents higher and one charge went through without the tip altogether. I've never worked in a restaurant, so I don't know how the process works where the final bill is sent over to the credit card company. In this situation, I came out ahead. But that's not the point. I want the employees who were my servers to get their tips and get what I indicated on the copy that I signed. This same exact sort of scenario showed up a year or two before when I also visited twice ... with one lunch charge coming across without the tip. Another lunch charge must have been processed with an even dollar amount as the tip. Again, I came out ahead, if you even want to look at it that way, but I want the employee to get his or her tip. The price-quality-quantity here remains at 5 stars. That's why I have filed Ivett's away in my head. I've now landed on the pattern of lunch specials that I like in any given week - a chicken dish and the manicotti dish, so I come in for those. I did try the lasagna once and, since this is in the U.S. of A. and not fine dining, they use the thicker undulating sheets of pasta that I'm not a fan of. It's to be understood. It's what most Italian-American restaurants do. That dish might come in as a 4. I applaud Ivett's for being a small restaurant that is intent on serving its customers and its community. However, if the tip for that one customer's meal is $2.28, $2.74, or $3.11 because the customer is seeking to hit a "normal" looking final number, then it's $2.28, $2.74, or $3.11. And, if they don't enter the tip at all, then I feel bad because the employee didn't get their tip and it makes me feel cheap ... cheaper than I already am to some people. Fix this little clerical issue by instructing your employees how to do so ... and keep up the good work! I look forward to seeing you all (translation: y'all) the next time I'm in the area.

When we walked in, we were greeted and ask if we were picking up or staying, I answered we were staying. We were taken to a nice table, which was cleaned by the hostess, and seated. Sadly, after more than 5 minutes, no server approached our table. The menus were down and we were ready to order. And... no one came over. We were passed by several times and the table next to us was checked on, but not us. So we didn't get to try anything as we took the hint that we were not important and left. That said, do not come just for the pizza. A personal pizza is perfect to share as an appetizer, but the entrées are the real stars of the menu.
