The moment I walked in the studio it just felt good, I loved the clean and modern look, and perfect natural light. I was welcomed by Katherine De Boda the owner and teacher. She's a wonderful spirit and a fantastic teacher with clear instructions that helped me further my yoga practice in just a week of practicing with her. I have been doing yoga for 8 years off and on, and have felt stuck in my practice, I am amazed how much I learned in that week of practice, and am again excited about my yoga practice, and learning more about the eastern philosophy and yoga in general. The interest in eastern philosophy and Sanskrit may have been triggered by teacher Matt Rulli, I enjoyed his "Intro Into Primary Series" (Ashtanga Yoga) class as well. Amy's crystal healing session has helped me find where my energy is blocked and helped me make a positive change in my life. My story: I've had a lot of stressful events happen in life recently one of them being laid off from work twice within 12 months. Like many others laid off at the start of 2023 I applied to close to 75 jobs, and made it to 2 final interview rounds at 2 companies only to be rejected. I began spiraling into feelings of despair and anxiety and questioning my abilities as a professional. I had met Amy through my MIL, and had heard about her crystal healing session. Although I was skeptic, I figured it was worth a shot since I believe people can project negative energy especially when you're desperately trying to get a job. Both experiences were unique yet similar: * The studio session was relaxing to the point that my racing mind was able to go blank for a decent period of time, just absorbing the vibrations of the bowls echoing in the room. * The private session made me feel grounded especially being outside in the grass with the mixed in sounds of nature. I will definitly be brining more friends to the class sessions and hope to host a private event featuring Terri as well because everyone should get to experience the peace her sound meditation will bring you!
