This was my first time ever getting anything altered so I…read morepicked this place because it had pretty good reviews and word of mouth for my bridesmaids dress for my sisters wedding. The first time I go there, I ask to have the hem of my dress moved up so it doesn't drag, the slit of my dress lowered so my whole leg isn't out, and the waist brought in because it was too big. I drop it off and take my receipt. I come back a week later, get my dress, pay and try it on and the waist was never brought in. I go back and I give them my receipt and even though I was within the 10 days, they would not adjust for free because it wasn't written down on the receipt originally but they will give me a 50% discount to get the waist brought in. So I figure okay, maybe I should have checked the receipt for my services no biggie that's my bad I'll just pay again. I get remeasured and drop my dress off again for my waistband to be made smaller like I asked originally. They messed up my zipper so bad where my dress looks like absolute crap. The zipper and the fabric are all bunched up and it is difficult to zip and unzip my dress. If you look closely at all the work done on my dress this place is a scam. The 3 inches where the slit of my dress was re-sewn is falling out. They seem like such nice people too. DO NOT go here to get altered!! Please go somewhere else!!!!

I feel fortunate to find someone who does such beautiful work on all my brand new clothing. The owner who has done my fittings has a gentle smile. Although she is soft spoken and a woman of few words, she isn't ever rude. If she was an extrovert, she might choose another line of work -- as a top notch seamstress, she is kept very busy in a quiet setting working her magic independently. My only hesitation in offering this recommendation is that this business 'Perfect Fit' will continue growing and become in such great demand that I will have to get a very long line for the best service anywhere. Having lived in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, New York, and New Orleans, I can say she's one of the best seamstresses I've known--second only to my grandmother, who also owned a seamstress shop. Yes, her prices might be on the higher side, but the results are always perfect. Over the years, I've given her some quirky requests, and she nails them every time. I should have noticed this, but they were so caked with dirt (ok and dried manure) I did not. Before I took them to Dawsons, I bought another pair (won't even tell you what I paid for them) but after wearing them once at the barn realized the heel was too high. I was leaving for a trip and begged to have them early despite the store's clearly visible posted time of response. Fast forward a few weeks. I miss the deadline due to flight delays, then I got sick. So basically, Dawsons put a rush on the job for me, which wasn't even necessary. He cleaned up my disgusting boots so he could repair them, made them look like new, and made the other boots wearable. When I sheepishly arrived late, the owners were gracious. I need to send them flowers. Signed, Idiotic but Very Satisfied Customer.

More than half the dryers are out of order. Some of the ones working are at low temps. Added one…read moresolid hour and an extra money of course to dry my clothes. The attendant puts a yellow post it with "out of order" on dryer. 11 of the 32 dryers have note. Of the 22 remaining only some have high heat working. Fix the dryers and this is a 4 to 5 star place. Prices are fair.

I really did not think that whoever said it was speaking to me because she said it as soon as I opened the door, so I keep walking to the Dryers. Then I heard her say it again. I turned and said "No thanks." and immediately she followed it up by saying "What do you think you are doing?" In a very condescending inflection in her voice. I then said that was going to dry my clothes. She then said "Last load is at 5:30pm!" I then looked at my phone and watch, it was 5:26pm. Four minutes before last load. I thought about it for a split second and said "You know what, I'll never be back to this F.....g business again!" She went on to say something in a smartass tone again. My retort was "Kiss my ass, lady." and walked out the door. I have heard bad reviews about this establishment before and should have taken heed. Sam's Club opens in three hours and sixteen minutes. I'll never be as happy to buy another dryer!!!
