I ate at this restaurant when arriving in Paris. It was kind of funny for me to eat at an Italian restaurant in Paris, but why not? I had other days to enjoy more authentic food. There was not a lot open because I arrived late at night. I also had some confusion with my hotel and travel agency so I was a bit frazzled.
I wandered into this small restaurant and was charmed by the employee behind the kitchen counter. He spoke pretty good English and explained how he cuts a piece of pizza with a scissors. I thought it was kind of funny at the time. I was probably on about 26 hours with no sleep and just really wanted to eat something. I had a couple of slices of pizza along with a small salad. The salad had antipasti in it. It was a little bland for my taste. Crisp breadsticks are provided at the table. I waited quite a while to be served my pizza. It had a really thick crust and the taste was adequate. It was nothing to write home about but was not bad.
I remember having some sort of fruity bottled drink but it was a brand I cannot remember because I was unfamiliar with it. They did not rush me sitting there even though it was nearing closing time. It was a cozy and relaxing place just to sit kick back and unwind after a very hectic day. read more
