This person was very apologetic, but it did t make up for the fact that we were hungry. I give 1 star because the food was good.

Neither of us speak Danish but he was really helpful in helping us to decide what to order. The food was fantastic and the local beer was very good! I tried a cocktail from their bar and it was equally great. Previous reviews left a comment about slow service but we found that the service was perfectly timed. I don't expect American Applebees speed when I stop in a small European town to dine, so you shouldn't either.
