Responsive and attentive on the phone. Seems like their workers are hired by price rather than quality of work. Our weekly (sometimes) pool service lasts between 12 and 18 minutes. I used to use Mammoth for all things relating to property maintenance for my rental. They overcharge for many things because they are a GC that outsources tasks to other vendors like landscaping, cleaning, etc, but it was convenient to use them. They installed a new AC unit three years ago and secured the 6 foot drain pipe with electrical tape instead of securing it with a hose clamp or something more substantial so the tiny 1" joint at the AC unit didn't break off. Three years later, I have to repair my roof for $750, because it did just that and leaked water for, what seems to be several months if not years. When I asked them to send someone out to properly secure the drain pipe, they refused to to do it. Something so simple, that they messed up on initially, that would cost them almost nothing to repair, and I guess my future business wasn't worth it. I have since stopped all services from Mammoth and use local vendors who have better pricing and treat me much better read more

Kourtney and Cullie came and installed new ventilation fans in both of my bathrooms. This required some extra work in my attic which is very tight and cramped because they are vaulted, so working on it myself is not possible due to disability. They were able to schedule at a time that worked for my work from home wife, and were respectful of her need to work undisturbed. We paid a fair price for the services and I plan to hire them again in the future for projects beyond my means. A+++ read more

Robert has been over to my apartment a handful of times in the last year to help with a bad laundry machine and more recently Air Conditioning problems. This is my 3rd time hiring Mammoth. I hired their plumber Harry to fix my shower. Previously I had hired a private person, thinking I would save money and unfortunately it ended up costing me more. Harry came in, assessed the situation and went right to work. He was able to figure out the problem and fix it in a timely fashion. Although they charge by the hour, he worked quickly and efficiently and saved me money! Harry was extremely knowledgeable, polite, personable and genuinely cared about my issue. If they show up the work is acceptable. Getting them to keep an appointment is impossible. When I did have an electrician scheduled they decided to pull him off my job to assist with someone else. They rescheduled him for next week only to call me at the appointment time to cancel and reschedule for next week. This was not the only bad experience. In the same week - I had interior work scheduled. They canceled that appointment on the same day and time that it was supposed to start. When I asked them to rectify the mess they created. I was given a sob story about their problems. Everyone has problems that's why they are your problems - I have enough of my own. Don't bother with guys. There are plenty of prompt professional handyman out there. read more

Mammoth did work on the sprinkler system per OnQ Property Management for my leased home. In September they came to do sprinkler system work to replace broken pipes in the aging existing system that was costing me $100's of extra dollars per month in water bills... a few short weeks later, my water bill shot back up, and after attempts to have it remedied, they came out and said it was operating normally... had an additional opinion, and a valve replacement later my problem was solved... a few weeks later, they call and want me to pay their bill for $85... really? Nice guys that come out and do the work, but this is unacceptable... wouldn't refer, or use personally... sorry Taylor, as I mentioned more than once, I said I was going to pay your invoice once I received an invoice... I'm still not happy with the service as the problem still existed after your technicians left, and took another visit from another service to resolve the issue. Again, send me an invoice, although I still could not recommend your business despite your courteous employees read more

These folks will be the default referral from OnQ Property Management, but do yourself a big favor and find an independent company with good referrals. They'll promise you the moon over the phone and then fail to deliver. They do shoddy work and use bait-and-switch tactics because they can get away with treating individual customers poorly. One of their worst offenses is promising to treat landscape with PRE-emergent weed control, but actually use POST-emergent treatments instead. Then you'll see weeds back in the landscape in 2-3 weeks during the high season - and you're back at square one. In our particular case they were also supposed to set up the sprinkler timers for the new property we moved into. The second company we needed to hire to trim the palms (Mammoth won't handle your trees over 6 feet tall) noticed that the sprinkler system was completely deactivated. When caught red-handed failing to complete service and using bait-and-switch tactics they begrudgingly offered a 10% refund for their utter failure of a job. Save yourself money, time, and frustration and look elsewhere. read more

I needed two toilets fixed. A tech from Mammoth came out and I couldn't be happier. Robert was knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and fixed the toilets in a timely manner. Mammoth service rep (Keith) came to my apartment to fix my dishwasher, in a quick manner he listed some issues that may be the cause. He notified me about a part to be ordered and left. By far the shadiest Property Maintance Company to do business with. When a call is placed to the office it's rushed, the ladies that answer have no patience to hear what you have to say as a tenant or a owner of a property. I would NEVER recommend the following company to anyone not even my worse enemy. When technicians come out to fix the issue you can tell they want to provide the best resolution to the issue however every time I have had them out it appears a call is placed to the office and the job gets completed but not to the best of their ability as it's cheaply completed. What I find extra hilarious is after reviewing the reviews of this company the message below mine that speaks of "great" customer service of the office staff and techs is posted by the current office manager Leanna.. I can't help but to think that most of the reviews are FAKE... This company really needs an overhaul of current office employees or sadly it will be just a slight memory to the owner! read more
