I understand that jobs can run over, but it's common courtesy -- and basic professionalism -- to communicate delays to customers ahead of time. People take time off work and arrange their schedules around these appointments. The complete disregard for my time was extremely frustrating and unprofessional.

We panicked and our minds went to the worst. I found this company and decided to give them a try based on other reviews. everyone who came out was incredible and so friendly. They made the whole process painless and I actually really enjoyed meeting them, despite the circumstances. Each person was so kind and took care of the house as if it was their own. The thing I see other people upset with and something i didn't know going into this is that this company DOES NOT do the repairs after the remediation. This was no issue to me, and i was able to call around while they did the work and find someone local to come patch up the drywall once they were done. But if you're not prepared for that, i can see how that would be upsetting to someone. Be careful not to assume the work anyone will do and always ask every question that comes into your mind. Brandan came out first to check for plumbing issues and was able to determine that our mold was likely not plumbing, something we needed to rule out. After talking him to him about the situation and how we just bought the house, he offered to check the plumbing of the rest of the house and came back with some really good catches. Nothing major but he was able to explain what he would recommend, and gave us quotes but made it clear there was no pressure. Having someone who knew so much was really wonderful to have out and it made us kick ourselves for not having a plumber come out with the home inspector but now we have a solid plumber we know we can call when/if we need one! Brandan also said that the mold issue was now something that needed to go to their mold guy,Ruben and called him right up. Ruben was able to come out same day and give us a better idea of the situation and a quote for the remediation. The price was fair and he said he would try his best to remove as little as possible while still being safe and thorough. He was so kind as well and very sympathetic to our situation, we immediately felt like we were in good hands. Ruben and Ivan came out to do the remediation work a few days later and they were amazing. They showed up on time, were quick yet also quiet, got the work done in the quoted time AND managed to save me a whole wall and builder shelves. Ruben then said he would adjust the cost of the service to reflect that as well, literally couldn't get any better. Getting an unexpected mold issue means saving any bit of money we could was huge, this also saved us on the drywall repair we had to do later. Ruben took so many pictures and took the time to talk me through what they saw and brought me into the space to show me and made sure i understood. Then when he came back the next day to pick up the fan, he took the time to do the same with my husband who hadn't been there the day before to make sure we both had all our questions answered. Plus the report we got after was so extensive and wonderful. Not everyone will put the effort into writing up a whole report, and just claim the work was done but they had sections for each step and lots of pictures. This review might sound overly positive, someone might be like they must have done something that you can critique but even my husband who can be quite picky with the work other people do, was impressed and had no comments. We were so stressed and i cant tell you what a calm presence and years of knowledge can do for people like us. this really set the bar for me and made me very happy to went with a local company. I had another local plumber come out to fix something a few days before them and did not have a good experience at all and when they called to ask me how the work went i told them i left feeling not the best. I'm so glad we not only were able to get rid of the mold BUT found a new plumber to keep on speed dial.

I found rodeo plumbing. Corie was very responsive... at first. He came to the house, told my mother her water heater was out of warranty, she believed him. Corie advised the water heater needed to be replaced. Corie called his technician Keith, who was in town and could be here within a few hours with the new water heater. We paid the replacement cost and cost of the new water heater. Well, before Keith got here, I called the warranty company and they advised we had two years left on our warranty. I called Corie and advised of that before Keith got here. He said "great, we'll work on getting you reimbursed." When Keith was done installing, he wanted us to sign the invoice, we told him we wouldn't sign it until it said "pending reimbursement for warranty." He was very frustrated and annoyed with us, but he wrote it on the invoice. Well what do you know, they never emailed us that invoice. I've asked several times since this to contact Corie and he constantly says "I'm working on it." And nothing has been done, it has now been months. They've stolen from us and refuse to reimburse us. I will be taking this matter as far as I can take it. People who take advantage of the elderly should be held accountable to the highest degree. The heartlessness of this "company" is laughable. Stay far far away!

The shelf needed some custom trim work done to match the wood stain and overall design. I asked for a "built in" look for the bookshelf given its large size, so it feels like a main feature in the room. From start to finish, Eric exceeded my expectations for the project. He was a pleasure to work with, very responsive to my requests, and fairly priced for the work he did. The fact that he has a design background in addition to carpentry skills set him apart from other woodworkers and "handymen" in the area. (I hate to even throw that handyman term out in relation to Eric because he is truly an artist!!!) The bookshelf repair and custom trim project took a couple of weeks total to complete as he squeezed me into his schedule between larger jobs, but the work turned out perfectly and was totally worth the wait! Eric did some of the work on site at my home (measuring and cutting), but completed other aspects at his own workshop (staining and fine details), before returning to do the final install. Naji arrived to discuss the project, and based on our conversations with him, was well-prepared to discuss options. He is a deeply knowledgeable person who is personable, professional, and truly customer-focused. The crew showed up right on time, and the point person on the job, Joaquin, explained the process of removing sod and dirt and installing the pavers--over 1,000 of them. They hand-measured and hand-cut the pavers that created the circular mesa around each tree--they look exquisite. It was a crew of seven, who were perfectly coordinated, worked well together, and hustled to get the job done in the promised timeframe--one day, which astonished my wife and me. Because the job required cutting a number of pavers there was quite a bit of brick dust. After completion, Joaquin used the hose to meticulously spray off all of our trees, shrubs, and all of the rock, to make it look pristine--that's going the extra mile!
