This company is for VERY simple tasks and they OVERCHARGE like there is no tomorrow! The made an appointment for 9am, then got a call , he is not coming till 11, then another call not till 12. I took time from work, wasted 3 hours of my day waiting for them. Just for him not even show up. Why do we make an appointment if this company can't manage time? DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! William came out earlier today to install a new ceiling fan and change a few AC filters that are a bit different than the traditional filters. He completed everything in an hour. This review is not about service as things didn't progress that far. A technician came to our house 4/1/25 to discuss/brainstorm ways to ventilate our garage. The first suggestion he made was that I should insulate the garage door. The problem with this suggestion is that within the past year, we have installed both a new garage door and a jackshaft opener. Insulation would add weight to the door and put additional stress on the opener and possible void the warranty. Because of that risk I told him that we needed to go down a different path as I wasn't going to take that risk. I didn't want to solve one problem by creating another. Instead of listening to me and making other suggestions, he continued with talking about insulating the garage door which became irritating. Additionally, we got into a discussion about vents that are installed in the garage per code for gas water heaters. He said that he had been in numerous garages but had never seen vents installed like that and seemed to question the need for the vents. At that point I knew he wasn't licensed (confirmed with the ROC) because that point shouldn't be subject to debate. When I mentioned a friend of mine who has an electric water heater and the garage didn't have vents that's when the light went on in his head, and he said something to the effect of "oh yeah, I didn't think of that." I'm not supposed to be smarter than the contractors I hire but that was the case here on this point. They may do good work but their customer interaction needs work. read more

Quick response, good service, knowledgeable, came on time. Diagnosis my door lock problem, fixed the broken irrigation pipes, adjusted the irrigation system- orbit. I had some Mexican worker came give me estimate to fix the irrigation system, they quote more for $800, later dropped to $350. With William, only took him a hour to fix it all, which is less than $150. read more

I was very impressed by the service I received from this company. They were able to schedule the work within two days of my request, and actually came ahead of the scheduled appointment. He called first to make sure it was okay to come early. He worked very quickly. He fixed my small garage door and additionally screwed in some wall shelving that had fallen off since I had to slam the door so hard to get it to close. The front screen door needed a new part, so he went to purchase it and came back to install it. The price was very reasonable for the work that was done. I would use this company again. read more

The person I texted to book the appt with was so polite/friendly and made that portion a breeze! That's always a big deal to have a pleasant first impression. William Jr. came on time and also communicated earlier in the day to confirm. He too was extremely polite, clean-cut and proficient in his work. It was very easy to work with him. I do wish he'd worked just a bit quicker though. Those hours quickly added up. Obviously proper work requires it's due time, but a bit quicker would've been cool. This is not a review of the work performed as we never got that far. My individual experience may not be respresentative with others but valid nonetheless. The ask was to perform an easy home condition checklist and upload photos to a google drive. Without asking clarifiying questions, they worked to push for more money by stating the work would take 3 hours. I've purchased over 10 properties and a full on professional inspection would take about 2.5-3 hours (detailed report, climb on roof/attic, test appliances, etc.) so a home condition walkthrough should take no more than an hour based on my extensive experience. With that being said, I was willing to pay them for 2 hours. They accused me of trying to dictate costs when they wanted an unlimited cap on time to do "work" without citing any experiences. Based on other reviews, they probably do good work but will probably overcharge you. Also not great that you get snarky comments about not being able to schedule. I'm not in the business of writing unfair reviews but to inform others of my experience. I'll let the public judge for themselves but I'll take the time to respond to your responses for the last time: Hi Randy, first and foremost your request stated in an email to us that you were only willing to pay for 2 hours of work. We would never go to a job that limits our ability to do the job correctly. Answer: incorrect. I mentioned based on my experience with PROFESSIONAL HOME INSPECTORS, the work should take an hour (1 hour for each property). If you think it will take 3, then this shows how you all are price gouging by inflating hours. It was only after you threw out 3 hours I was willing to go up to 2 fo the 1 property. Secondly, you asked us to go to 2 properties asking for a discount before we knew the job. Answer: It is not uncommon to ask for a discount for multiple jobs. You did agree to waive the truck fee for a back to back job. The second job backed out because tenants are moving out and not renewing. Thirdly, we never got that far because we told you if you wanted to limit someone's time, you may want to try a different company. Answer: This is not a "limit" but more to provide guidance to pace the walkthrough based on extensive experience of both the home and over 10 real estate professional inspection work across 4 different states. See note above on trying to price hike on why you think it will take the same time as a PROFESSIONAL REAL ESTATE HOME INSPECTION (full scope) for a easy walkthrough (go through a check list and document condition if something is wrong...). It is a great offense to impose no limits to unsuspecting customers who don't know how long it takes to do things. My ask was not unreasonable to limit work to less than how long it would take. It was actually generous to allocate twice the time - guess this is how handiman work exploits unsuspecting customers. You still complained in more emails to us, even after we recommended you find another company. Im sorry you didn't like our answer, but again we will never go to someone's house Answer: No complaining (happy to post screenshots of the email). Just stating facts. I gave estimates based on my experience, you guys are removing limits and estimating inflated hours with NO EXPERIENCE. Unless you are saying a home condition checklist walkthrough is going to take the same amount of time as a licensed real estate home inspection for a home sale.... I think everyone whos purchased a home will know whose right so I'm not here to argue with you (you can continue to think what you want) but to inform the public. read more
